The flickering screen in front of me was dominated by the chilling visage of Damien’s doctrine, emblazoned across every news channel. A dark crimson border framed the stark white letters that scrolled ominously along the bottom, each word a harbinger of dread. The news anchors, their faces taut with concern, engaged in heated debates about the implications of this sudden proclamation.

Why now? Why would Alpha Damien choose this moment to resurrect such an ancient and foreboding doctrine?
