That night, both Blake and Elliot came home. Blake had just returned from a business trip overseas. The moment he heard something was wrong with Lydia’s eyes, he dropped everything and rushed back. Elliot had just wrapped up his last concert on a national tour and flew straight home too.
When they realized she really couldn’t see, both of them were furious and heartbroken. She was always the one helping others. Now that she needed help, they could do nothing for her. The feeling of helplessness hit them hard.
“Lydia, please tell me, what is it going to take to heal your eyes?” Elliot’s eyes were already red. He was ready to do anything for her.
Blake watched her just as anxiously. “Lydia, tell us what you need. Anything at all.”
Juna, who had been watching the scene quietly, spoke up. “Vision Rejuvenation Grass. It’s the same rare herb Lydia used to treat Connor’s eyes. Right now, there’s nowhere to find it in the country.”
Connor had kept it a secret that a Vision Rejuvenation Grass was growing again on Mount Gemspire. He hadn’t told anyone, not even Kylie or Cameron, let alone Juna. The herb was extremely rare, and it needed another three years before it could be used. He couldn’t risk anything happening to it.
As soon as Blake heard this, he said, “I’ll get people searching for it right away.” No matter what it cost, even if he had to flip the world upside down, he was determined to find it.
Elliot nodded. “I’ll have my team look into it too.”
Lydia didn’t try to stop them. She knew there was no point.
The week passed quickly, and soon it was the weekend. Blake and Elliot had barely left Lydia’s side. Blake was so busy with work that he basically moved his office home. Elliot canceled all his events and said, “I just want to stay home and take care of my little sister.”

Olha a história bem boa só algumas coisas são chatas ( nesse tipo de história sempre troca as filhas pela a da empregada ou então pegam uma menina pra criar) pelo menos eles tratam a filha bem só enche o saco que até agora a Lucinda tá lá enchendo ! Fora isso tá bom Connor é um fofo a família dela a ama muito só Lucinda pra abaixar o nível do livro já era pra ter resolvido isso e fazer ela pagar mais tudo bem li um livro chinês que era parecido só algumas coisas diferentes ,ais mesma coisa tipo ela salvou o Connor no início lá ela salvava o avô dele , no chinês ela não tinha um irmão mais novo com os pais adotivos , a mãe dela tinha 2 irmãos e todos os avós estavam vivos mais história quase igual e tem coisas tipo o triângulo que lá TB tinha até a Lucinda que no chines TB ficou o livro todo aprontando só no final a família descobria e se livrava dela aí ela ia morar com o cara que ela usa pra disfarçar que não gosta do Connor aí depois ainda quase matava a irmã dele e a mãe dele que ele via como ela era...
