“And what about her? She stood there, in front of everyone, and called Tina and the other two girls thieves without even bothering to find out what really happened. She tried to fire them on the spot, without checking with anyone. If someone walked in, they’d think she was the lady of the house. Lydia kept calling Grace a servant, and every time she said it, it made Lucinda’s skin crawl. Grace was her nanny, not just some servant. Lydia was just unbearable!
