Ready to Rule: The Real Heiress Strikes Back novel Chapter 293

Inside the house, Lydia sat on the couch, scrolling through her phone and checking her messages.

Grandpa Carson: [Lydia, have you thought about coming to Capital College? I can make any dream of yours come true.]

Grandpa Charles: [Sweet Lydia, come to Oakwood College. Any lab equipment you want, Grandpa will get it for you.]

Grandpa Kevin: [Lydia, we had an agreement, remember? Come to my university. I’ll be waiting for you.]

Across the table, Garrett watched Lydia, noticing how focused she was on her phone. He guessed she must be checking her exam results. Trying to sound casual, he asked, “Lydia, how did you do?”

She looked up at him. He quickly explained, “I’m just curious, okay? No matter what your score is, you’ll always be the best in my eyes.”

He tried to be cute, giving her a quick wink.

Lydia couldn’t help but smile a little at that. She pulled up her results and handed her phone over so Garrett could see for himself.

Garrett’s eyes went straight to the number on the screen. When he saw the score, his eyes widened in disbelief.

He read the total again. 750.

“Lydia!” he nearly shouted, startling the maid clearing dishes nearby. She almost dropped the plates in surprise.

“You really got a perfect score!” Garrett’s whole face lit up, and he looked like he might burst from excitement.

Tina was nearby and heard him. She hurried over. “Did Lydia really get 750?”

Everyone in the room turned to stare at Lydia, their faces full of shock and amazement.

In this family, the four brothers were all geniuses, but only the eldest twins had ever gotten a perfect score. No one expected Lydia, who had just returned, to match them.

Garrett nodded. “I think so. But Lucinda did pretty well too. If she wants, she’ll definitely get into a good school.”

Tina laughed. “Well, they’ll have to get through Lydia first. I’m going out to see what’s happening.”

Even if Lucinda’s score was good, she was still behind Lydia. Now Grace could stop spreading rumors about Lydia’s poor grades. Lydia was just low-key and didn’t like showing off.

“So, which university are you thinking about?” Garrett asked.

He remembered her saying at breakfast that she didn’t want to go to Oakwood or Capital College. So what was her dream school?

Before Lydia could answer, Cameron’s excited voice rang out by the door.

“Lydia! Lydia, you’re incredible! You’re the only person in the whole country with a perfect score!”
