C. Lambert, probably thinking Connor was just some clueless newbie with a blank profile and no avatar, fired back. [Son, show some respect!]
Connor’s reply was even sharper. [You dropped your manners somewhere. Get on your knees, apologize to your me, then pick them back up.]
C. Lambert lost it. “You’re all just a bunch of brain-dead superfans!]

Connor was just getting warmed up when a new message popped up on his screen.
MikeyDrunk: [Bro, Grandpa caught me and Chris. We’re already on our way to the Norwood family’s place. We’re going to the matchmaking meeting for you! You owe us, big time!]
Connor: [What’s it got to do with me if Grandpa wants to find you two a girl? If you want compensation, go talk to him.]
MikeyDrunk: [*eyeroll* Don’t throw your brothers under the bus like this. Lydia is supposed to be your fiancée, not ours. Don’t think you can get out of it just because you’re stuck in a hospital bed. We’re not letting you off that easy!]

The fans were obsessed, hyping him up like crazy. His follower count shot up to thirty thousand in no time.
He was definitely making the most of the moment.
Lydia glanced at the mysterious blank profile named ‘CNR’, thinking for a second, then typed a new comment. “Thank you all for standing up for Chief Lydia. I’ll see you in the livestream tonight at ten.”
Immediately, the replies blew up. See you at ten! We’ll be there!
When Connor saw Lydia finally show up, he sent her a private message right away. For once, his tone was actually polite and a little hopeful. “Lydia, can we meet?”

Olha a história bem boa só algumas coisas são chatas ( nesse tipo de história sempre troca as filhas pela a da empregada ou então pegam uma menina pra criar) pelo menos eles tratam a filha bem só enche o saco que até agora a Lucinda tá lá enchendo ! Fora isso tá bom Connor é um fofo a família dela a ama muito só Lucinda pra abaixar o nível do livro já era pra ter resolvido isso e fazer ela pagar mais tudo bem li um livro chinês que era parecido só algumas coisas diferentes ,ais mesma coisa tipo ela salvou o Connor no início lá ela salvava o avô dele , no chinês ela não tinha um irmão mais novo com os pais adotivos , a mãe dela tinha 2 irmãos e todos os avós estavam vivos mais história quase igual e tem coisas tipo o triângulo que lá TB tinha até a Lucinda que no chines TB ficou o livro todo aprontando só no final a família descobria e se livrava dela aí ela ia morar com o cara que ela usa pra disfarçar que não gosta do Connor aí depois ainda quase matava a irmã dele e a mãe dele que ele via como ela era...
