Daisy just stared, completely floored that Monica was actually siding with Lydia. Was this because of that cheap bottle of sunscreen? She felt her voice shake with disbelief. "Monica, seriously? I can't believe you're doing this. Lydia gives you some random sunscreen, and now you're on her side? She literally threw water at me. You and Fiona both saw it happen!"

Monica stood her ground. "We saw Lydia throw water on your bed, Daisy. But do you want to explain to everyone why she did that?"

Fiona couldn't hold back either. "Exactly. After Lydia got off the phone with her boyfriend, Monica and I teased her a bit. We joked that if the guys at school found out she was taken, they’d be devastated. But what did you say then?"

Daisy went pale. She shot Monica and Fiona a look that could kill, already cursing them out in her head a thousand times over. No one crossed Daisy Rivers and got away with it. Not if she had anything to say about it.
