Ms. Powell finally turned her gaze to Ms. Brown, who was cowering in the corner. She spoke only once, her voice calm and final. “Ms. Brown, don’t bother coming in tomorrow. The school will be issuing your termination notice.”
Getting fired with a formal announcement meant Ms. Brown’s reputation would be ruined. No school wanted to hire someone with a record like that.
Ms. Brown’s eyes filled with tears. “Please, Ms. Powell, don’t do this. My daughter just got into this university. I want to stay with her. If I leave, how will she manage on her own?”
Ms. Powell’s tone was dismissive. “Do you see any other students with their parents attending classes with them? Stop making excuses.”
Panicked, Ms. Brown rushed over to Lydia, voice trembling. “Lydia, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have blamed you. Please, I’m begging you, don’t let the school fire me.”
Lydia’s lips curled into a cold smile. “Where was all this humility when you and the Rivers family tried to get me expelled?”
Ms. Brown was at a loss for words.
Lydia’s smile turned mocking. “If it had been someone else tonight, what would you have done to them? Expelled them? Smeared their name? And the roommates who stood up for them , would you have dragged them down too?”
Ms. Brown broke down, sobbing. “It’s totally my fault. It won’t happen again.”
“Adults have to own up to their actions. Go find the Rivers family. Maybe they’ll help you find a new job.”
When everything was over and everyone had left, Monica and Fiona stared at Daisy’s empty bed, still in shock. It felt like they’d just woken up from a wild dream.
Lydia’s expression softened as she glanced at them, her voice sincere. “Thank you both for tonight. It’s late, you should get some rest.”
Monica and Fiona could barely process what had happened. They just nodded, still reeling. “Yeah, you too. Good night.”
The next morning, all the freshmen at Capital Med School gathered for their training.
People were impressed with how fearless Lydia was, going head to head with Daisy.
“I heard someone saw Daisy leaving last night with her parents.”
“Wait, seriously? So Lydia actually won?”
“Looks like it. The girls in the next room said they heard Daisy screaming and crying.”
“Wow, is Lydia really that badass? Who is she, anyway?”
“No idea, but Ms. Powell, Bobby, and even Ronald all showed up last night.”
“And what about Lydia’s boyfriend? Who is he? Is it really like what Daisy said…”

thank u!...
thank u for the upload...
the next chapter is exciting...
the next upload is exciting. i cant wait....
Every chapter is missing a sentence from the end of every chapter. It’s frustrating to try guess what’s missing or said...
