When Lydia heard the news, she immediately got what was happening. She pulled out her phone, scrolled through the school forum, and, just as she thought, there it was.
“Lydia, we believe you. Don’t let all that stuff online mess with your head,” someone reassured her.
Lydia just shrugged and smiled. “Let them say whatever they want. It doesn’t bother me.”
The next morning at seven, all the new students at Capital Med School were packed onto buses and shipped out to the training base for drills. After five days of training on campus, everyone was running on empty. They’d had to get up at six, grab their luggage, and meet up, so the whole group looked half asleep, yawning nonstop.
Monica and Lydia sat together. Monica was so tired her eyes could barely stay open, but Lydia was wide awake, scrolling through the class group chat for the day’s schedule. The next ten days would be intense. The first day was all about getting settled, then it was straight into all kinds of survival training. They’d work in teams of five, and everyone would be graded individually and as a team. The scores would be added up, and whichever class scored highest would win a bunch of perks from the school.
After about an hour, the buses finally pulled up at an old, abandoned military base. The second everyone realized they were surrounded by deserted mountains, any trace of sleepiness vanished.
“Whoa. This place is kind of creepy. What is this?” someone whispered.
“It’s so desolate. Are we really supposed to stay here for ten days?”
Daisy folded her arms and looked at Lydia’s tiny team, smirking. “Wow, Lydia, you’re so good at shooting. How come nobody wants you on their team?”
Daisy’s group had her, Patricia, and three guys who had all done well in training so far. She was sure their team was the strongest.
Patricia, still bitter after Lydia humiliated her in front of everyone, now followed Daisy around like a shadow. “Please. Only shameless people would want to team up with her,” she sneered, glaring at Lydia and shooting a side-eye at Monica and Fiona.
Monica’s cheeks turned red with anger. “Patricia! Looks like you still haven’t learned your lesson from last time.”

thank u!...
thank u for the upload...
the next chapter is exciting...
the next upload is exciting. i cant wait....
Every chapter is missing a sentence from the end of every chapter. It’s frustrating to try guess what’s missing or said...
