“Obviously you, baby. Ashley’s just washed up. I can’t even look at her without losing my boner. She can’t compare to you at all.”
“Ah, easy…”
Suddenly, the whole conversation exploded over the school’s PA system. It was chaos, the kind that rattles the walls. Ashley looked like she’d been struck by lightning. She let out a scream and whipped around to face Roger and Ms. Murphy.
“You... you two... you filthy cheaters!”
She flew at Ms. Murphy, grabbing wildly for her perfectly styled hair, completely losing control.
Ms. Murphy never saw this coming. Her affair with Roger was just broadcast across the school for everyone to hear. She was frozen in shock. It wasn’t until pain shot through her scalp that she realized Ashley was actually attacking her.
The broadcast kept playing.
“For this year’s best teacher award, you have to give it to me.”
“It’s yours, okay? Didn’t I give you every award you wanted?”
“So when are you going to help me move up?”
“Relax, as long as I’m here, you’ll get your slice of the vice principal job.”
Ashley was beyond furious. She clawed at Ms. Murphy’s hair and face, not caring who was watching.
“Gina, you snake! I thought you were my friend, but how could you do this to me?”
“Who are you? How did you get this? It’s all fake! You’re framing me! I’ll sue you, I’ll make sure you spend the rest of your life in jail!” Ms. Murphy’s eyes were wild, refusing to admit anything, wishing she could tear Lydia apart.
“Gina! Shut up!”
A commanding voice cut through the chaos.
Ms. Murphy spun around, stunned, and saw District Superintendent Martin standing in the doorway, dressed to the nines.
She stared in disbelief. “Martin?”
Martin let out a cold laugh, then walked over to Lydia, his tone polite and respectful.
“Hello, Director Ms. Norwood.”

Olha a história bem boa só algumas coisas são chatas ( nesse tipo de história sempre troca as filhas pela a da empregada ou então pegam uma menina pra criar) pelo menos eles tratam a filha bem só enche o saco que até agora a Lucinda tá lá enchendo ! Fora isso tá bom Connor é um fofo a família dela a ama muito só Lucinda pra abaixar o nível do livro já era pra ter resolvido isso e fazer ela pagar mais tudo bem li um livro chinês que era parecido só algumas coisas diferentes ,ais mesma coisa tipo ela salvou o Connor no início lá ela salvava o avô dele , no chinês ela não tinha um irmão mais novo com os pais adotivos , a mãe dela tinha 2 irmãos e todos os avós estavam vivos mais história quase igual e tem coisas tipo o triângulo que lá TB tinha até a Lucinda que no chines TB ficou o livro todo aprontando só no final a família descobria e se livrava dela aí ela ia morar com o cara que ela usa pra disfarçar que não gosta do Connor aí depois ainda quase matava a irmã dele e a mãe dele que ele via como ela era...
