“For real? I didn’t even see Lydia write anything. Did she just turn in a blank sheet?”
“She wrote something, just a few words, then snapped a photo and submitted it.”
Everyone looked over at Daisy. She’d put her pen down too, getting ready to submit her answer.
The room buzzed as people started connecting the dots. Someone scoffed, “Lydia just wanted to hand in her answer before Daisy and steal the spotlight.”
“Totally. She’s just pretending to compete.”
“What’s the point anyway? She made a bet with Daisy, so the judges have to look at her answer.”
Some students couldn’t hold back. “Seriously, what’s with this Lydia? Did she come here just to embarrass our college?”
Fiona glared at the ones nearby. “If you think you’re so smart, why don’t you try answering? You can’t do it yourselves, but you’re quick to trash someone else.”
Monica chimed in, giving them a sharp look. “Exactly. You’re boosting the competition and tearing down your own team.”
That shut everyone up for a second.
But a few people still grumbled under their breath. “We’re not wrong anyway.”
“Right. Even if we sang her praises, what’s the point if she can’t actually do anything? She’s going to lose to Daisy and make us all look bad.”
Fiona and Monica looked like they wanted to argue more, but Lydia shook her head. “Fiona, Monica, don’t worry about it. Let them talk.”
The results would speak for themselves.
Sandy was competing too. She’d written her answer carefully and submitted it. When she heard everyone mocking Lydia, a little smile played on her lips.
She was curious to see who would win, Lydia or Daisy, but deep down, she hoped Daisy would take the prize.
She just didn’t want Lydia to have it easy.
Once all the answers were in, the judging started. First, the electronic system quickly sorted through everyone’s submissions for the best ones. Then the judges would review them one by one.
While everyone was still whispering about whether Lydia had already been eliminated, Daisy’s name popped up first on the screen in the A+ category.

thank u!...
thank u for the upload...
the next chapter is exciting...
the next upload is exciting. i cant wait....
Every chapter is missing a sentence from the end of every chapter. It’s frustrating to try guess what’s missing or said...
