Chapter 161 Frozen Legs and Fiery Tempers
Fiona’s chest rose and fell with anger.
“And you had the nerve to repeat that?”
A flash of embarrassment and irritation appeared in her cold eyes. She waved one hand, and a stream of icy frost shot toward Steven.
Steven immediately behaved.
He sat down obediently in his chair.

A second later, everything below his knees was frozen solid.
Fiona said coldly, “Are you always this annoying?”
Steven endured the freezing cold around his legs and answered calmly, “You think this is bad? I can be way worse. Seriously, just say what you came to say. I still need to evolve.”
Fiona sat down hard across from him.
Her icy gaze stayed fixed on him.
‘So who’s the idiot here?”
Steven laughed bitterly at himself.
He knew it. There was something wrong with her head. She really came here just to settle the score with
him.
He steadied himself and said, “Yours. You had zero real combat experience. Was I wrong?”
Anger flashed through Fiona’s beautiful eyes.
Steven kept going. “Don’t give me that look. You made the wrong choice back there. If I hadn’s shown up. those beasts would’ve eaten you alive and turn you into poop now. So tell me, was I wrong?”
Fiona was furious.
But she couldn’t argue with him.
Steven relaxed a little. Pretty as she was, this girl really wasn’t good at arguing.
“You don’t need to come all the way here just to thank me. Yesterday was basically a free lesson Learn from it. Don’t rush into danger like an idiot again.”
Fiona was speechless.

“That’s my business. None of yours,” Steven replied lazily. “Maybe I just have powerful connections. Happy?”
Fiona stared at him deeply.
This guy was definitely more than just an ordinary B–rank.
And his marksmanship was absurdly good. Even she had to admit she wasn’t as skilled.
Thinking back to both yesterday’s fight and his clash with Spencer, her curiosity only grew stronger.
Fiona said expressionlessly, “Fine. Then let’s fight.”
Steven instantly changed his attitude. His face filled with flattery.
“Come on, senior. Why make things difficult? There’s no way I could beat you.”
It was rare to see any smile on Fiona’s face.

“Aren’t you supposed to be tough? You fought Spencer yesterday. Why can’t you fight me?”

Steven laughed awkwardly. “He’s nothing. But you’re a goddess. A goddess should stay elegant. Let’s not fight.
“Please be generous and let me off this time. I did save your life yesterday.”
