“And if you make a move now, they’ll notice you right away, won’t they?”

Hudson nodded. “Yes. I took a risk coming here because I wanted to ask for your help. If you can deal with him, then I won’t need to step in. I’ll stay back and watch for now. Unless things get desperate, I won’t make a move. The surveillance hanging over me is still à problem.”
Darby nodded.
“Good. I’m curious about him myself. He only went through his Divine Awakening this year, yet he can already kill level 6 beasts and defeat a Six–Sigil Divine King.”
A faint smile appeared on Darby’s face. “That makes him worth testing. I’ll deal with him first. You should leave this place.”
Hudson nodded.
“Thank you, Lord Fiendspawn.”
Darby waved him off. Then he looked at the figure standing beside Hudson.
He smiled. “Lord Viperscourge?”
The person beneath the black cloak gave a slight nod.
Darby smirked. “You people really are bold.”
The cloaked figure said nothing.
Hudson glanced at the Thousand Shadows.
“When Lord Fiendspawn makes his move, I hope you can at least be useful. Don’t just stand around doing nothing.”
With that final warning, Hudson and his people disappeared in an instant.
Darby’s eyes darkened.
He muttered, “Ember Sacred Sword… Remington wouldn’t lie to me. Danger or not, I’ll cut through anything that stands in my way.”
Darby looked at the screen showing Steven’s location.
“Someone get in here, Send the Blightbeasts after them.”
Two days passed.
The five squads crossed Hallow Peak, Ember Peak, and Violet Peak. They also traveled through countless forests, hills, and valleys along the way.

Chapter 638 into the Toxic Fog

They fought several battles before finally reaching Stillwater Peak.
The group stood at the top of a waterfall and looked into the distance
Shane cursed, “Why did they have to run this far? This is getting ridiculous. And the toxic fog keeps getting thicker. We can barely see anything ahead”
He was right.
Everything in the distance was covered in thick gray mist. Visibility had dropped to only one or two miles.

Steven then looked at Alan. “Don’t take unnecessary risks. If you can’t beat them, pull back. I’m going to find whoever is hiding behind the beasts.”
