Chapter 665 The Beast Tide Begins
one besteven could have earned many military honors at his age
That left only one explanation. Someone extremely powerful might be backing him.
At last, the two men began to take Steven seriously.
Steven, however, knew nothing about this.
He closed his eyes and focused.
As he used his breathing technique to absorb Evolution energy, he thought about how to obtain the sword fragment
In his previous life, no one knew Bianca had obtained the fragment at first.
She only revealed the truth after she became the Ember Eternal.
That meant Bianca had known from the beginning that she needed to keep it secret.
After all, a treasure like this was valuable enough to attract the attention of a Divine Eternal.
When the sword fragment appeared, Steven had to find a way to claim it without anyone finding out.
Until they were strong enough to protect themselves, they couldn’t let the secret get out.
Steven went over every possible situation in his mind, trying to come up with a foolproof plan.
The night passed quietly.
To everyone’s surprise, nothing happened. Not even the slightest sign of trouble appeared.
Some people began to wonder if Steven had exaggerated the danger.
What if the beast tide wasn’t nearly as large as he claimed?
At dawn, the first rays of sunlight spread across the land, driving away the night’s chill.
From the summit, they could enjoy the sunlight for a short while. But soon, they would have to descend into the poisonous mist again.
The poison fog had grown incredibly thick.
Everyone prepared to move out.
At Cayden’s command, the entire group gathered.
“Move out! Search the area around the three main peaks!”
More than 300 people marched down the mountain.
Every member of Ashen was ready for battle.

The Valkyrie followed behind them
Keyneth and his people had already distanced themselves from Steven’s group. They now stayed close to Riley’s team instead.
Steven exchanged a glance with Alan.
“If things really turn out the way I expect, everyone will be coming on you, Captain Alan.
Alan nodded. “Do what you need to do. Don’t worry about us.”
Steven gave him a serious nod.
The main force descended Silverbowl Peak and headed toward Heavenspire Peak.
Meanwhile, high atop Dawncrest, Darby watched countless specks of light moving in the distance.
He slowly rose to his feet.
“It’s time to finish this. Once they’re gone, no one will interfere with our search for quite some time.”
“Then let’s end it!”
Darby turned toward the people behind him.
“Temptress. Legion. Thousand Shadows.”
“Yes, my lord!”
Their voices answered as one.
“Begin. Gather every beast under our control. Today, we wipe them all out.”

“None of the will survive today”
