Chapter 25 The Last Import
Autumn had absolutely no desire to go outside in the scorching heat anymore.
She was just about to head back to the shelter when her phone received an address and a door code.
Uh… Okay.
A moment later, Leonel called.
“Autumn, this shipment is very important. I’d appreciate it if you could store it for me. Same arrangement as before. Ten percent of the supplies as your storage fee. Just take your share directly.”
“Alright,” Autumn replied.
She turned the car around and headed toward the coordinates Leonel had sent.
By the time she arrived, she was already drenched in sweat from the heat.
Autumn had wrapped herself up completely to keep her skin from being exposed to the sunlight.
People still didn’t know that starting today, sunlight would relentlessly attack the body’s natural defenses.
The more time they spent under the sun, the faster they would die.
The villa was extremely quiet.
Using the code Leonel had sent, she opened the gate and entered. What greeted her was a villa packed to the brim with bottled water and large containers of drinking water.
Right now, these supplies might not have seemed particularly valuable.
A month later, they would be worth a fortune.
“He really knows how to do business,” Autumn chuckled. With a wave of her hand, she stored away every bit of water filling the entire villa.
After collecting all the water, she headed down to the basement.
The basement was packed with refrigerators and chest freezers of every size.
Inside them were seafood shipments from all over the world.
Some came from Northica and Southica, some from Whitepine, and some from Bushland.
Every freezer had a label indicating its place of origin, making everything easy to identify.
They were all premium products that Autumn either couldn’t afford or couldn’t obtain herself.
She waved her hand and stored everything in her storage space without the slightest hesitation before turning around and leaving.
When she reached the mountain ravine, she tossed the bodies down into it.
Those men would probably remain on missing persons lists for the rest of their lives. Nobody would ever find them in a place like this.
Leonel called again.
“Come to the port.”
Autumn raised an eyebrow. “…You’re at the port?”
“Yeah. This shipment is important, so I came personally,” Leonel said. His voice was low and carried a strangely magnetic quality that was pleasant to listen to.
“Send me the exact location.”
