Chapter 26 Warehouse Ten
“This shipment is in Warehouse Sixteen.” Leonel smiled meaningfully. “If I’m not mistaken, that billionaire won’t have enough time to move it out tomorrow. If I was able to find this information, others will find it too. As far as I know, two separate groups already have their eyes on the shipment and are rushing here right now. When that happens, who do you think those supplies will belong to? Besides that, some of the shipping containers here are carrying weapons.”
Leonel continued, “They’re all smuggled goods. They’re supposed to be secretly moved out sometime tonight.”
Autumn had been somewhat indifferent at first.
But the moment she heard Leonel’s words, she immediately sat up straight.
If there was one thing she already had enough of, it was supplies. Weapons, on the other hand, were nowhere near enough.
Even with her ten-thousandfold duplication ability, the amount of weapons needed to survive 15 long years still wouldn’t be sufficient.
The premise of ten-thousandfold duplication was that the initial quantity had to be large enough.
And the weapons she currently possessed were only part of what she had taken from some unfortunate victim during a previous raid.
“The conditions,” Autumn said. She knew free lunches didn’t exist.
“Straight to the point.” Leonel smiled. “I want ten percent of the supplies as an information fee. That’s reasonable, isn’t it?”
“Deal.” Autumn agreed immediately.
“Then here’s to a successful partnership.” Leonel extended his hand toward her. “Every surveillance camera in the port has already been disabled by me. I planted a virus in the system that will continuously loop prerecorded footage. But you only have three hours. No matter how much you get, you have to leave after three hours.”
“Thank you.” Autumn shook his hand firmly. “Mr. Wright, congratulations. You’ve just gained the perfect business partner.”
“Hahahaha!” Leonel burst out laughing as he stood and walked away.
He looked both confident and effortlessly stylish.
Although Leonel’s physical abilities might not have been exceptional, and he probably couldn’t beat Autumn in a fight, his mind was truly remarkable. His ability to coordinate large-scale plans and see the bigger picture was something Autumn lacked.
Working with Leonel really wasn’t a bad thing at all.
After all, free supplies like this were hard to resist.
What kind of free-for-all scavenging could compare to this?
Once Leonel left, Autumn was the only person remaining in the entire port.
