Inside the kitchen.
Michelle had heard the gunfire outside, so she stayed hidden.
While chaos reigned on the deck, the kitchen remained quiet. No one had entered.
Michelle felt relatively safe there.
Even after the shooting stopped, she didn't dare come out. She was still waiting for Elena to come get her.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps. Her heart leaped into her throat.
Was it the criminals?
Elena was alone against so many of them; maybe she had already been captured.
Maybe she couldn't escape either...
She began to tremble uncontrollably.
A figure ripped open the lid of the crate she was in.
"Ah! Don't hurt me! Don't hurt me!" Michelle screamed.
The intruder, panting heavily, grabbed her by the neck.
"Don't move! Shut up!" the man warned in a low voice.
He was wounded.
He had fled here to hide from the search parties.
He hadn't expected someone to be hiding in the crate.
Michelle looked at the man in horror. His arm had been shot and was bleeding profusely.
Hearing someone approaching from outside, the man grabbed her and dragged her into a corner to hide.
The person who entered was Tyler. He checked the crate and found it empty.
He was confused. The Boss had said there was someone in the crate.
Why was no one there?
Did she run away?
Just as Tyler was about to leave, he noticed blood on the floor near his feet.
The blood was still wet; it must have dripped recently.
He immediately went on high alert, slowly walking toward the pile of clutter in the corner.
Michelle was terrified.
She couldn't tell who was the good guy and who was the bad guy.
However, as Tyler approached, the criminal holding her hostage grew more tense.
"Michelle!" Elena called out to her.
"Elena!" Michelle ran over and hugged her.
"I thought I'd never see you again." Michelle cried emotionally, feeling like she had just survived a brush with death.
"It's okay now. We're safe. Let's go home." Elena led Michelle onto the boat.
The boat set off. The group sat inside, enveloped in silence.
Hannah looked disheveled. The thought of her innocence being stolen by that disgusting man tonight was a nightmare she couldn't wake up from.
And worse, Elena had seen it.
She leaned against the corner, saying nothing, her eyes vacant.
Bianca was in slightly better shape.
She hadn't been assaulted, but she had been forced to hide in a garbage bin, and the stench of rot still clung to her.
Just then, Elena's phone rang.
It was Dylan.
The signal had been jammed on the cruise ship earlier, so calls hadn't gone through.
Dylan knew she hadn't returned despite the late hour and was worried, so he had sent people to look for her.
