“Incredible! You never cease to amaze me, Aurora!” Sienna was clearly thrilled with the latest design draft.
“By the way, you’re usually a ghost. What brings you here in person today?” she asked, her curiosity piqued.
“I’m here with my sister. Speaking of which, I’m entrusting her to you. Take good care of her.”
“Don’t worry! I’ve assigned our sharpest senior designer to mentor her. I guarantee she’ll thrive here.”
“In that case, I’m off. You can have the coffee,” Elena said, already rising from her seat.
“Hey... you’re leaving already? Won’t you sketch a few more?” Sienna protested. It would only take her a few minutes, after all.
“Not today.”
“But come on, you haven’t released a new clothing line in almost a year!”
“I’ll send you the drafts when I have time.”
With that, Elena was gone.
Sienna shook her head, sighing. The girl was willful. If this little genius put in even a fraction more effort, she’d be the richest woman in the world by now.

Once explained, Amanda and Daniel were overjoyed. Their daughter was trading her delivery scooter for an office desk. Amanda immediately started dinner to celebrate. She realized that ever since Elena returned, the house had been filled with good news.
Chris, however, looked concerned amidst the celebration.
“Claire, I’m happy for you, really. But LUMEN isn’t a place you just walk into. For them to assign a senior designer to a rookie immediately... it’s unheard of. Usually, fresh graduates are glorified assistants. This feels too smooth. Are you sure it’s not a scam?” Chris asked.
Claire paused. “I don’t think so, Chris. I went to their headquarters today. And the designer, Elaine? I’ve seen her on TV. It was definitely her. Besides, Elena was with me.”
“That’s odd...” Chris murmured. He was sharp, so his suspicion was natural.
“Chris, it’s legit,” Elena interjected smoothly. “I was there. LUMEN really liked Claire’s portfolio. I believe she’s going to be a great designer.”
