Reborn Fake Heiress Watch the Whole Family Burn novel Chapter 798

"I will. Thank you, Chairman."

Did that mean she could practically walk on water at the company?

Victor gave a warm nod before his assistant approached.

"Chairman, regarding the project in Silverport this weekend—will you still be overseeing it personally?"

"Yes, I need to keep a close eye on it. Make the necessary arrangements early."

"Understood."

With that, the two men walked toward the main house.

Lorna watched Victor's retreating figure, a deep pang of envy striking her heart.

*If only I were Victor Ellington's actual daughter,* she thought.

With a filthy rich father like that, she would be a true elite heiress.

She wouldn't have to give a single damn about anyone at the company.

*Actually, with the Chairman backing me up, I don't have to give a damn about anyone right now,* she corrected herself, a smug smile spreading across her face.

Carrying her torn dress, she walked out to meet Charles, who had just pulled up in his BMW.

Seeing Lorna casually stroll out of the heavily guarded gates of the Ellington estate sent a thrill of pure adrenaline through Charles.

The rumors were absolutely true.

Lorna really was the Chairman's daughter!

The proof was right in front of his eyes.

"Lorna! Over here!" Charles waved enthusiastically, stepping out of his car.

"Hey, Charles. I need to drop by a boutique to get this dress repaired. It was a birthday gift from my mom, after all."

"Of course, I completely understand. Hop in, I'll take you there right now!"

After dropping the dress off at a high-end tailor, Charles drove her to a luxury shopping mall.

To thoroughly win the heiress's heart, he had planned a full evening: a movie, a fancy dinner, and a shopping spree.

He was determined to seal the deal and sleep with her tonight!

After buying the tickets, they headed into the theater.

Coincidentally, Elena and Dylan Sinclair were in the exact same showing, seated directly behind them.

"Are you jealous of them? Should we try that?" Dylan murmured seductively, leaning close to her ear.

"Pass."

Was it not incredibly obvious that the guy in front of them wasn't sincere at all?

One look told Elena the guy was a seasoned player just trying to score.

An hour and a half later, the credits rolled, and the theater emptied out.

Elena and Dylan headed to a restaurant for dinner, and shortly after, Theresa arrived.

Theresa had specifically come out to meet up with Elena, so Elena simply invited her to join their table.

Theresa didn't care that she was crashing a date. In her mind, she had known Elena longer, and when she was with Elena, Dylan could take a backseat.

Sometimes she caught herself thinking that if Elena were a man, she absolutely would have fallen in love with her.

Elena had saved her when they were kids, and she was so impossibly cool.

It was a shame they weren't destined for romance in this lifetime.

"What are they doing here?" Theresa muttered, spotting Charles and Lorna walking past the restaurant.
