Back then, Hayden was a nobody, and no one cared if he lived or died. But now, many people were paying attention to him because he was the owner of a media company.
"Just be careful. Maybe you shouldn't go at all," Christina advised.
"I have to go."
Hayden pursed his lips and smiled bitterly. He had to go to clear things up. Otherwise, they would continue to harass and threaten him.
"Alright." Christina sighed, feeling helpless.
"Our video program is finalized, and we're shooting tomorrow. You should get ready too. The shooting location is quite popular. It's an outdoor shoot. Let's hope our second video gets more views," Hayden reminded.
"Okay. I know a lot of internet celebrities have been there too. Although the place is beautiful, it has a bad reputation in the industry," Christina said seriously.
"Why is that?" Hayden asked, looking puzzled.
"People say they rip customers off, and there are those who secretly take pictures of others there. Some even say that there are shady dealings going on there."
Christina didn't say anything anymore because what she had heard was more terrifying than this.
"Don't worry. We're going as a group, so we'll be safe," Hayden said sincerely.
Christina paused and then looked at the crossroad, saying, "Alright. I'll be on my way then. Just be careful."
Hayden nodded and bade her farewell with a wave of his hand.
Then, he went to meet the Sterling family alone.
Both of them were light eaters, so they became full quickly.
"Last time, he said that he's allergic to oatmeal and dislikes celery, so I made sure the chef didn't include them this time. I hope he won't be upset."
Looking hopeful, Charlotte glanced at every dish. She felt that everything was perfect. She was certain that Hayden would like the dishes.
"Hmph! I only invited him to join us. It doesn't matter if he eats or not. The most important thing is to talk. That's how it works at dinner gatherings. It's a good chance to teach him a lesson," Francis said coldly.
Just as the family was talking, Hayden walked in. He frowned slightly as he looked at everyone.
"Are you all done eating?"
