REBORN My Second Life I Became The Villianess novel Nysa and Dario Valteri Chapter 110
That night, dinner was loud, warm, and happy. Everyone was talking, laughing, and passing plates around the long table. Halfway through the meal, the dining room doors swung open and a security detail walked in, looking slightly awkward.
"Madam, there is... um..." the guard started, hesitating.
Dario looked up from his seat, narrowing his eyes slightly. "What is it?" Dario asked. The guard cleared his throat. "Ms. Vexari is parked in a car a few feet away from the gates, just watching the entrance." he said.
I let out a bright, genuine laugh, shaking my head. "I knew that girl couldn't help it," I said, picking up my glass of water with a smirk.
Over the next few days, Nysa kept up her pathetic stakeout, sitting in her car parked just down the road from the Valteri gates. My security detail kept me updated every two hours, tracking her movements with quiet amusement. On Thursday morning, the sun streamed into the dining room while the rest of us sat around the table enjoying breakfast. I took a bite of my toast, looked across the table at my dad, and smiled slightly.
"Dad, she's looking for you," I said casually. My fatherinlaw and Grandfather immediately burst out laughing, shaking their heads.
Dad rolled his eyes, cutting into his eggs. "Not interested." he said.
Grandmother chuckled, sipping her coffee. "She's trying to rekindle the old flame," she teased, which sent the rest of the table into another round of laughter. Dad grinned darkly, stabbing his fork down. "I will probably murder her stupid ass." he said.
Grandfather chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "Oh come on, give her a chance to get close to you and see what she wants." he said.
I nodded slowly, wiping my mouth with a napkin. "I actually agree with Grandfather. But you don't need to give her a chance to approach you directly. Just send some security details to grab her from her car and take her to a secluded place. She won't talk if people are around, but she'll talk to you alone." I said.
Dad let out a long, heavy sigh, running a hand over his face before looking up. "Fine." he said reluctantly.
The plan was set into motion before breakfast even wrapped up. Two of dad’s most trusted men quietly left the estate, driving out toward the gates where Nysa had been wasting her days away in paranoid obsession.
I leaned back in my seat, watching the sunlight bounce off the polished silver on the table. Nysa thought she was being clever, staking out our home like some pathetic shadow, but she had no idea she was walking straight into a trap designed by the very people she tried to ruin.
"Well," Uncle Pascal said, breaking the silence with a grin. "Shall we wait for the update?"
"Definitely," I replied, taking a sip of my orange juice.
It wouldn't take long. Once my dad got her alone, away from all of us, especially me, Nysa would finally crack and when she did, every single secret she had been hiding would come pouring out into the open.
Later that night, right after we finished dinner, my dad pulled Dario off to the side of the dining room. He murmured something low into Dario's ear, and Dario just nodded once, a serious look crossing his face. A minute later, my dad headed out, leaving the rest of us in the room. I was standing near the counter, casually talking to Elena and Ella about some upcoming plans, when Dario walked up behind me and tapped my shoulder.
"Come on, we're going somewhere," Dario said.
I turned around, raising an eyebrow. "Okay."
I said a quick goodbye to Elena and Ella, grabbed my small bag, and followed Dario out toward the waiting car. The driver held the back door open for us, and we slid into the leather seats. The second the driver hopped in the front and pulled away from the compound gates, I didn't waste any time. I unbuttoned my jacket, unbuckled my seatbelt, and shifted, moving right over to straddle his lap.
Dario blinked in surprise for a second before his hands instinctively settled on my hips. "We've been back home almost a week and you've been busy with work," I whispered, looking down into his eyes.
He wrapped his arms tighter around my waist, pulling me flush against his chest, and leaned in, pressing his lips hot against my neck. "I know, and it's killing me," he said against my skin, his voice rough. "I'm just trying to finish up the backlog so I can spend the entire weekend with you."
He kissed a path back up my jawline before taking my lips in a deep, hungry kiss. I leaned into him, letting out a soft sigh as his hands gripped my thighs. A low groan vibrated in his throat, and I felt him instantly harden beneath me.I pulled back just an inch, pressing my hand against his chest with a smirk. "Stop. Where are we going?" I asked.
