Reborn Omega Avenge Herself Like an Alpha (Aubrey Mary) novel Chapter 470

The incessant ringing of the phone pierced through the heavy silence. Aubrey, barely conscious and drifting in and out of awareness, found the noise almost unbearable. It was a sharp, persistent sound that kept her just alert enough to realize the crushing weight pressing down on her chest. The sensation of suffocation was overwhelming, a slow, torturous grip tightening with every breath she struggled to take.

In the distance, a sight stirred hope—twenty werewolves laboriously carrying a massive piece of equipment toward the site. The group had not only been digging but also felling trees to clear a path for the heavy machinery. Now, at last, the large excavation machine had arrived. Though it still required some time to be set up and operational, the very presence of it sparked a flicker of optimism in everyone’s hearts.

Even Alpha Henry, who had been drained and desperate, seemed to regain a spark of life. He had never appeared so restless and anxious before.

“Aubrey! The machine is here!” he called out urgently into the phone, his voice trembling with a mixture of hope and desperation. “I’m going to get you out soon. You just have to hold on a little longer, that’s all. I swear, just a little more—please!”

There was no answer. The silence on the other end made his heart sink once again. Clutching the phone tightly with both hands, Alpha Henry pleaded softly, “I’m calling you, Aubrey. If you’re still there, please hang up, okay?”

Around him, the team bustled with activity, unloading the equipment and carefully checking the setup. Everyone moved with frantic urgency, fully aware that time was running out for the girl trapped beneath the earth.

With renewed determination, Alpha Henry pressed the dial button again, his hope clinging to the faint possibility of a response.

The phone rang once… twice… The slow, drawn-out “ring, ring” seemed to stretch endlessly, making his breath catch in his throat. Then, on the fourth ring, the call abruptly ended. His eyes widened with relief and joy. She was still there. She was still with him.

He handed the phone to Perry, holding it as if it were a priceless treasure. “Call her every two minutes,” he instructed firmly. “Wait for her to hang up. Don’t end the call first.”

After giving the order, he threw himself back into the work at hand, his energy renewed. The machine was finally ready. Using a life-detector, they measured the depth carefully before the drill bit—half a meter wide—started boring straight down from the original excavation point.

Mud splattered everywhere as the machine rumbled to life, the deep vibrations stirring a sense of hope and determination in all who watched.

No one had imagined they could bring such a massive machine into this remote area. With it, Aubrey’s rescue was no longer just a dream—it was becoming a reality.

Suddenly, Perry’s voice cut through the noise, tinged with anxiety. “Alpha! The call… she hasn’t hung up!”

She was ice-cold, coated in mud, motionless like a lifeless figure. Hot tears streamed down his face as he held her, but there was no response from her.

For a moment, Alpha Henry held her close, as if to reassure himself that she was still alive. Then, carefully, he secured the rope around her and signaled the team above to start pulling her up slowly.

While waiting, he glanced around the cramped space. There was no air, no light, and the suffocating tightness was unimaginable. How had Aubrey endured this for so long—over an hour trapped in such a hellish prison?

His feet were soaked in the icy mud, and the harsh reality of her ordeal hit him with full force. This was the cruelest form of torture, and she was just an Omega without the strength of a wolf.

In his mind, Callen’s voice echoed quietly, “She’s truly incredible. So strong.”

Alpha Henry nodded silently, gripping the rope tightly, determined to bring her back to the surface, back to life.
