Reborn Rich: Prices Dropped, My Savings Didn't novel Chapter 122

Chapter 122: Chapter 120: Isn’t This Self-Defense a Bit Excessive?

No one was killed, of course.

But Blair clearly knew how to hold back. Dealing with three heavyset, middle-aged men was a matter of just a few moves for her.

Two minutes later, one of them was on the ground, clutching his head and crying out—

"Don’t you dare leave! I’m calling the police!"

A bald man, sprawled on the floor, pulled out his phone. Blood from his forehead smeared his face, and the sticky wetness on his hands made the touchscreen unresponsive.

Seeing the Rakshasa-like woman walking toward him again, the bald man’s face twisted in terror. He reflexively threw his phone at her. Blair dodged with a tilt of her head and sneered, "Is that all you’ve got? And you still have the nerve to harass people?"

"I won’t do it again! I was wrong, I was wrong, please stop hitting me." The bald man begged for mercy, crying his eyes out as he curled his stout body into a ball on the floor, a ridiculous sight.

Seeing his pathetic state, Blair instantly lost interest. She casually placed the ’fire extinguisher’ she was holding onto a nearby table.

The owner, hiding behind the bar, was scared witless. He had just called the police for the girls right away, but how had things turned out like this?

Cecilia and the others had no intention of running. After such a huge incident, they obviously had to wait for the police.

"Sir!" Cecilia suddenly looked toward the bar and asked, "Did you call the police?"

The owner nodded with a dazed expression and said hesitantly, "I have security footage that can prove they harassed you first, but all this stuff in my bar..."

Someone had to pay for it, right?

Cecilia didn’t miss a beat. She walked to the bar, scanned a QR code, and transferred one dollar. "Is that enough?"

The owner was completely stunned.

’One was an incredible fighter who took on three by herself!’

’The other was so ’generous’ she paid him a whole dollar in compensation!’

Snapping back to his senses, he quickly nodded. "That’s... that’s enough."

Before long, the police arrived. It was two very young male officers. The moment they stepped into the bar, they saw the utter mess and three large men lying on the floor, unable to get up.

One of them, a dark, thin officer, frowned as he scanned the scene. He noticed the three young women sitting by the bar but didn’t think much of it, simply calling out, "Who called the police?"

"Officer, I did." The owner raised his hand and came out from behind the bar, feeling nothing but unlucky.

’Business was already slow, which was annoying enough.’

The dark, thin officer looked at the owner and asked, "What happened? Did the assailants run off? Is there security footage?"

"There is." The owner nodded, then hesitantly pointed a finger at Cecilia and her friends. "It... it was them..."

Hearing this, the officer couldn’t help but look at the three women again, a clear flash of displeasure in his eyes. "So the two parties started fighting over these three?"

The two officers walked closer and, without asking any questions, said directly, "At your age, couldn’t you find something better to do? Coming out to drink with men like these late at night?"

Cecilia stared, bewildered.

Blair let out a derisive snort at his words.

Estelle Goodman’s eyes went wide as she exclaimed, "Are you serious?"

"Officer, you’ve misunderstood! The three of them weren’t with these men. The three lying on the floor were beaten up by them." The owner quickly explained, then pointed at Blair and added, "Strictly speaking, she’s the one who did it!"

"What?!"

The two officers exclaimed in unison, looking at the three women with utter disbelief before their gazes finally settled on Blair.

Blair crossed her arms, tilted her head, and looked at the two officers with an impatient frown. "They sexually harassed us, so I took action. It’s on camera."
