Ash asked, “Why do they want to see me?”
Ash had been really busy lately. She had enough on her plate worrying about Sofia.

“You’re in charge over there. I’ll just take twenty percent of all the profits from now on.” Ash didn’t want to worry too much. She felt that her brain had been overworked lately.
In all these years, she had never been as mentally and physically exhausted as she had been recently.
She didn’t know if it was because Sofia was sick, but it made her feel uneasy, and she often couldn’t sleep well.
William drooped his eyelids, his heart filled with emotions. It wasn’t that the others missed Ash; it was that he did. He missed the days when they fought side by side.
Now that Ash had returned to the Turner family, it seemed that she needed them less and less. William felt a sense of loneliness.
He was actually happy for Ash, but he still hoped to be able to stay by her side all the time. Even if it meant taking a backseat role, he could bear it.
William said, “Ash, that company is yours. I’m just helping you. I didn’t come to you because I wanted a bigger share of the profits.”
Ash nodded, her beautiful face unable to hide her fatigue. “I know you didn’t. This is my decision. You’ve been taking care of the company all along.
“Let’s go eat. Don’t waste any time. I have to leave later.” Ash glanced at the time. It was getting late. Sofia was probably worried at home.
William got up and naturally took her coat and bag. “What do you want to eat?”
“Anything will do. It’s too much trouble to think about it.”
The two walked out of the office one after the other and bumped into Vanessa at a barbecue restaurant.
Finn saw the unfamiliar man with Ash and immediately became alert. “Ms. Turner, who is this gentleman next to you?”
“He’s my friend.” Ash pulled over the chair opposite them and sat down. After all, Vanessa had invited her sincerely, and it would be inappropriate for her not to sit down.
Besides, it was dinner time, and there was already a long queue
outside.
William smiled faintly, politely yet distantly, and briefly introduced himself, “I’m William, Ash’s friend.”
“Oh, you’ve known each other for a long time?” Finn leaned back, his eyes full of scrutiny. “How did you meet?”
Vanessa looked at Finn and whispered, “Do they have to tell you how they met? Are you an investigator? What business is it of yours?”
Finn immediately humbled himself and softened his voice, “I’m just curious, so I asked casually. I don’t have any other intentions. It’s just that I haven’t met him before.”
“There are so many people you haven’t met before. Are you going to ask one by one? Don’t worry about other people’s business, just take care of yourself.”

Chapter 245
Vanessa’s voice was flat, and Finn didn’t date to say a wond. He nodded meekly Okey is to you ferything you say is right. I’m being meddlesome and talkative. Please forgive me?
Finn now obeyed Vanessa, and everything she said was right. He didn’t redow or contradice they did whatever she
said.
Vanessa looked at him grumpily. “You’re so glib. Can you just be quiet? No one will think you’re use if you don’t speak for a day”
“Okay, stop it, you two. Can you stop being lovey–dovey and let’s put ext? Yim and Vanessapped back and forts, teaching not at all like senior directors. They acted more like elementary schood stores,
Vanessa’s cheeks flushed slightly. “We’re not being lovey doney?
Finn was unhappy when he heard that. “How are we not being lovey–doveyt Velore they came, it was just the two of us. wasn’t it? They interrupted us. We were having a good time, weren’t we? Finn put his hand on Vanessa’s chair and raised his eyebrows.
As soon as William sat down, he poured Ash a glass of water, then called the waiter and ordered a glass of lemon juice is there anything you want to eat? How about some snacks?
“No, just order whatever.” Ash was obviously very familiar with all of William’s actions. He handed her something, and the took it naturally.
Finn couldn’t help but worry for Calvert. William was clearly a rival in love. If Calvert didn’t take it seriously, the consequences would be unimaginable.
He took out his phone and pretended to be nonchalant as he snapped a picture of Ash and William across from him However, he didn’t turn off the sound, and the shutter sound was loud, immediately drawing the attention of the other three people at the table.
Finn himself was also silent for a moment, then smiled awkwardly. “Well, I’m taking a selfie. I think I look quite handsome today, Shall we take a picture together?”
This lame excuse was obviously not believed by any of the three.
“You don’t believe me? I was really taking a selfie. I can show you” Finn’s phone screen was already dark, and he held his phone out as if to prove himself.
He didn’t expect Ash to reach out to take it. “Okay, then turn on your phone and let us enjoy your handsome photo.”
Finn was speechless. He didn’t expect this move from Ash.
“What’s wrong? Is it inconvenient? Didn’t you just say that we could see it if we didn’t believe you?” Ash was an expert at dealing with all kinds of liars.
Vanessa, enjoying the show, picked up her drink on the table, took a sip, and said, “Yes, show Ms. Turner. Since you’ve already said so, let her see it.”
