“No luck?”

“She texted me” Grinning as I dropped into my chair.

“Really?” Kem seemed relieved, since I hadn’t seen or talked to her I was taking it out on my pack.

“Yea, she’ll be home tomorrow” Staring into space, as Kem sighed happily.

“Alpha Alpha Jex has requested a meeting with you” Kem said bring me back, as I blinked a few times.

“What for?” Annoyed, since Fina didn’t like the little bugger

“He didn’t say, just mentioned it was a very concerning matter” Walking a paper to me.

“When?” Taking the paper.

“Tomorrow, around noon”

“God, he has the worst timing. Fine, I’ll get him in and out. I don’t want Fina mad when she sees him here” Sighing the paper, handing it back to him.

“Yes Alpha”

I got little sleep as my brain was buzzing with the thought of her in my arms, in less then twelve hours. Then there was the matter with, Alpha Jex. Like he couldn’t have picked a worse time to want an audience with me. Pushing him away, to bring Fina back in. At some point I must of drifted off, as the alarm went off. Groaning I pushed off the bed, taking a fast shower.

Noon came around, and right on time Alpha Jex showed up. Kem opened my office letting him in, while I sipped at my whiskey.

“Alpha Jex, what can I do for you?” Trying to get him in and out.

“I have a very touchy issue to discus with you” He replied, taking a seat on the couch.

“Alright, lets hear it” Letting the ice spin in the glass, clicking along.

“Its about Fina” My attention suddenly a little more interested, as I raised a brow sipping.

“Go on” before taking another sip.

“I fear one of your wolves is courting her.” He stated, showing a little bit of irritation.

“Is that so?” Keeping my calm.

“Yes, he’s been around her a lot, and I fear its leading her on Crossing his legs.

“Interesting” Even though I wasn’t even the least bit worried. I had a feeling I knew who he was talking about.

“Yes, I am requesting she be returned to my pack. For her safety of course. Her family would very much appreciate it.” My eyes rolled a little.

“Denied” Taking another sip.

“What?”

“You heard me” I snapped, glaring over my drink.

“Alpha Hadar, your male wolf is taking advantage of Fina because of her mates rejection” He swallowed the bad word, before continuing.

“He’s not even a ranking wolf” Growling.

“Are you talking about Sam?” Pouring a little more into the glass.

“I don’t know his name, but he’s blonde and tall” Huffing, a few seconds later Sam knocks walking in.

“That’s him” Alpha Jex snaps, pointing at Sam. Looking at me Sam pales, wondering why he is being accused of

something.

“Thank you Sam, that is all”

“Yes Alpha” Stepping back out.

“That’s him, I want Fina transferred imminently”

“No” Turning my ice around the cooling whiskey.

“Why the hell not?” Standing up. My eyes raise as he becomes little more then a threat to me.

“Because Sam is not in a relationship with Fina, so your reasoning is void”

“I’ve seen him with her numerous times. He’s been holding her hand, and taking her everywhere” He sounded more like a whinnying child, then an Alpha.

“Alpha Jex, I have placed Fina in Sam’s care since she started going to College. He is always with her, because I made it that way. Trust me when I say she is not in a relationship with him.” Chuckling at the mere thought, Sam wouldn’t last a day with Fina.

“I don’t want him anywhere near her” Growling, at me as I sip the drink.

“Really? Enlighten as to why not?” Grinning

“SHE’S MY MATE!” Roaring, as the whiskey glass falls to the carpet letting the ice melt slowly.

Classes ended early, cause most of the teachers wanted to start their weekends earlier. Sam had texted me, wanting to know if I needed a ride. Which I replied no, I was taking a cab. Since I knew the cabby wouldn’t talk to me, which would give me time to collect my thoughts. Leaving my chocholic roommate with way to much candy, as she waved sugar high out the window. Giggling I got in, telling the older man where to go.

I had every intention of either making him beg, or cry for m to forgive him. Somewhere in there I thought about getting a new car out of the deal, not that he wouldn’t give me the cutlass but still. The cab driver stopped at the pack house, as I handed him his money. An extra car was parked out front making me, cock my head to the side it was familiar but not sure how. Maybe one of Jackson’s friends.

Entering the house, I was going to knock on his office but figured I had the right to just walk in. Twisting the knob as I pushed the door open, only to freeze at the mere sight going on.

Jackson was gripping Jex shoulder, while his other hand redecorated his face.

“YOU SON OF A BITCH” He roared sending another hard blow into his jaw. My feet were frozen in place, as he screamed again.
