Chapter 97

“WHO REJECTS AN ANGEL LIKE FINA” Another crack rips through the room. Blood is covering both their shirts, as Jex can’t even get up from the sitting position Jackson has him in.

“You NEVER deserved a mate like her” Jackson bellows, as his fist pounds already messed up flesh.

“JACKSON STOP” Finding my voice, as I run to his side, grabbing his ready to launch arm.

“Piece of shit, you disgusted me” Pulling him backwards, as look over at Jex. His face is slowly starting to heal, as he takes deep breaths.

“Calm down” Whispering to him, as I touch his chest. His body is close to shifting, as I turn to look at Jex.

“Fina you need to come home” He says, wiping his mouth on his sleeve.

“SHE’S NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITH YOU” Jackson roars pointing his index finger at him. Pushing his chest to stop him from advancing, I calm him a bit.

“Easy” Touching his cheek. His eyes look down at me, holding still as I give him a smile.

“He’s your ex mate?” Frowning.

“Yes” Nodding, as I look at Jex who is standing up now.

“Worthless shit” Growling. Jex is covered in his blood, that is now drying all over his clothes and skin.

“I’ll take it from here” Patting Jackson’s chest, as I step to Jex. Stepping to me Jex smiles, through his blood covered teeth. Before he might have been charming, and everything I wanted in a mate but now I was just turned off.

“What do you want Alpha” His eyes hurt, as I spit his title.

“You need to come home now” Sticking his hand out to me, Jackson growled. Holding my hand up, he stopped or at

least lowered it some.

“I am not going anywhere with you Alpha, this is my home and I am happy here”

“Fina you don’t belong here. You’re my mate”

“No Alpha. I’m not, at least I’m not anymore.” Shaking my head, folding my arms over my chocolate brown jacket with fuzzy white cuffs and hood. I had chosen to wear a sexy winter outfit, with matching brown fuzzy boots with a pair of black wash jeans tucked into them.

“Fina I didn’t have a choice, please believe me I wanted you” Holding his hands out, like I was suppose to forgive him and run in between them.

“Then if you wanted me so badly, why did you reject me?”

Jex’s face paled some, as he rubbed the back of his neck. Jackson huffed, reminding me he was still listening to all of this. Surly he wasn’t impressed with Jex, and wanted to kill im on that poor couch.

“She asked you a question” Snapping his jaw, making Jex flinch.

“It wasn’t my fault really, I didn’t have a choice. My father wouldn’t hear of anything else.”

“Alpha your not making any sense” Rolling my eyes.

“I had to mate with Mari because……I got her pregnant” If words could cut then I should have been bleeding from every opening available. Mouth open as I stood trying to process what he just said to me, he got. her. Pregnant.

Jackson’s hand touched my side, making me shake. Jex eyes darkened as he did this, taking a stupid step forward.

“Get your hands off my mate” Hissing at Jackson. Pulling me closer to his chest, Jackson’s heat warmed me up. Tears started to form as I thought about what Jex had just reviled to me.

“Don’t shed tears for him Angel, he’s not worth it” Kissing my cheek, as he wiped a tear away. Nodding my eyes darkened as I growled at Jex.

“You bastard. All this time I thought it was my fault, that I wasn’t good enough. While you lead me on, and tortured me with your stupid Enforcer offer. How could you?” Stomping my foot, growling louder.

“Fina please, I do want you. You’re my mate” I shook him off those sweet words didn’t work on me anymore.

“NO…no not anymore I’m not. You made your bed Alpha now you lie with Mari. I don’t need you for a mate, I have a better one.” Taking a step back to get reassurance from Jackson. Jex gasped looking angry, hurt and all around confused.

“What?”

“I have a mate already.” Unzipping my jacket, only to pull down my shirt collar showing off the mark proudly. Jackson kissed it, causing Jex to scream.

“NO YOU CAN’T BE HIS MATE” His fist clenching, as his body shook.

“Jackson please, get him out” Pushing my face into his chest,

“Anything you want Angel”

It took mere seconds for Jackson’s fighters to come in, grabbing Jex by the arms. He thrashed around screaming out, calling for me but I kept my face in Jackson’s chest.
