Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 858

Lana quickly nodded. "They found me three years ago. By the way, where have you been all this time? I was worried sick about you."

Sebastian felt an immense sense of relief upon hearing that Esme and Zia were safe.

"Three years ago, to escape from the Harmonia Sect's pursuit, I fled into Lazarus' forbidden grounds. Unfortunately, I got trapped there and only managed to escape recently," Sebastian explained.

"You've suffered so much, my love," Lana said, throwing herself into Sebastian's arms, her face full of concern.

Sebastian couldn't help but smile at her concern. True, the initial fall into the underground cavern had terrified him, but learning from Lazarus about alchemy and weapon crafting turned out to be a tremendous opportunity.

In fact, he had not suffered at all. Whether it was alchemy, crafting, or formations, he had attained exceptional skill in all. If he chose to pursue just one, he could excel effortlessly.

"Where are Esme and Zia now? Did they also join the Lacuna Sect?" Sebastian asked with uncertainty.

Lana shook her head. "No, they were taken in as apprentices by an expert. That senior has been with them all this time.

"They didn't share much but told me about your situation and asked me to find you if possible. Then they left with their new mentor."

Harvey added, "You don't need to worry, Sebastian. That senior recognized their talent and took them as direct apprentices. This is a great opportunity for them."

Sebastian nodded. In the world of cultivation, having a powerful mentor was far more beneficial than struggling alone. This was indeed a great chance for them.

Still, he wondered where he'd find them again. The thought of when they might meet next lingered in his mind.

At that moment, Sebastian noticed that Lana had already entered the Demigod Realm. At just over 20 years old, even by this world's standards, she was an incredible talent.

Harvey wasn't far behind. He had reached the pinnacle of the divine grandmaster level and was close to entering the Demigod Realm himself.

"Where are we headed now, honey?" Lana asked.

"I'll first check on Lillian and the others, then head to Skyde," Sebastian replied.

Lana nodded, and the three were about to set off toward the nearest Gaudium Sect when Lana suddenly took out a transmission opal from her pocket.

Hibiscus dismounted from the crane and glanced at Sebastian. She attempted to probe his cultivation with her spiritual senses, but to her surprise, an invisible force blocked her efforts.

There were only two possible explanations.

Either Sebastian's cultivation was much higher than hers, or he had some kind of artifact that shielded him from such probing.

Hibiscus was more inclined to believe the latter since she was an eight-star demigod. Sebastian appeared to be only about 24 or 25, so his actual age couldn't be much older. That made it unlikely that his cultivation surpassed hers.

"You must be Lana's husband," Hibiscus said.

Sebastian nodded.

"You have quite the nerve to break the arms of our Lacuna Sect's top apprentice right at our doorstep," she remarked.

"Are you here to settle the score?" Sebastian asked, narrowing his eyes.
