Upon arriving in Yang City, Wu Tian, Qin Yuhan, and Xia Qian found a hotel called the Esdes Hotel. Its chic decor was dominated by shades of blue. Every room featured blue roses, a detail that women adored.
Qin Yuhan and Xia Qian were immediately taken with the place, especially the roses. To most girls, roses are as irresistible as diamonds.
Of course, the little one was the exception. In her room, she looked at the blue roses and shook her head. "You can’t eat them, and you can’t use them as a weapon. What’s the point?"
Wu Tian nodded in agreement.
In their room, Qin Yuhan and Xia Qian were not pleased. "You men just don’t understand the beauty of flowers," Qin Yuhan chuckled.
Xia Qian nodded, standing united with her. She sniffed the fragrant blossoms, her delicate face looking slightly intoxicated. "A woman can’t live without flowers, just as a person can’t live without water," she said.
"Nonsense," the little one disagreed. "Am I not a girl?"
Qin Yuhan was taken aback for a moment. Then, with a playful glint in her phoenix eyes, she laughed. "Of course my little darling is a girl, and a cute one at that. But you’re being led astray by your father. If you keep up all this fighting and killing, who will ever dare to like you in the future?"
"Wrong! The question is, who’s good enough for me?" Suddenly, the little one’s small frame seemed to shudder as a powerful aura roared out from her. She held her head high and puffed out her chest, projecting an unconventional and eye-catching charisma. Both Qin Yuhan and Xia Qian were astonished.
"You all underestimate my daughter," Wu Tian said. "Her future achievements are beyond anything you can imagine."
"You say that as if you gave birth to her," Qin Yuhan shot back, rolling her eyes at Wu Tian.
He was left speechless. That was one argument he could never win. No matter how capable he was, giving birth was something he could never do. Seeing that Wu Tian had no comeback, Qin Yuhan and Xia Qian shared a triumphant smile.
"Alright, alright. Take the little one and go outside. We need to change," Qin Yuhan said.
Wu Tian nodded, but the little one protested, "What’s the big deal if I watch? I’m a girl, too."
"Sweetie, you’re acting so strangely lately that Mommy barely recognizes you," Qin Yuhan huffed. "There’s no telling what you’d do. What if you took pictures to show your father?"
Taking pictures is so lame, the little one scoffed with disdain. I was planning to record a video—a short clip would have been much more exciting.
Wu Tian left with the little one.
Back in the room, Qin Yuhan and Xia Qian began to change, each curious about the other’s figure and hoping to outshine her.
Downstairs, Wu Tian and the little one entered the hotel’s first-floor bar. It was a simple setup, but it lacked the typical boisterous atmosphere. In fact, it was as serene as a teahouse. The patrons sipped their cocktails with the refined grace of tea connoisseurs. As soon as they arrived, they spotted Nangong Yi and Gona.
Gona chuckled. His original plan was to crush Wu Tian’s hand with a secret burst of force. Now, as he held the little one’s hand, he tried to pull away after a moment but found she wouldn’t let go. He found this amusing. You want to compare strength with me, little girl? You’re a long way from being my match.
