Return of the Immortal Emperor Daddy novel Chapter 297

Chapter 297: Chapter 299: The Little One’s Caprice [3/5]

The Whip Master was dead.

Neither the Gun Sovereign nor the army could save him. Wu Tian wanted him dead, so he had to die.

The soldiers stared blankly at Wu Tian’s figure, momentarily unsure of what to do. The scene that had just unfolded still felt like a dream.

How could one person be so powerful? And what was that phenomenon in the sky?

In their eyes, Wu Tian’s existence was simply unbelievable, defying all logic. The soldiers had heard a thing or two from Zhou Weimou about the Jianghu, the sects, and the Five Surnames and Seven Families. To them, these were just things out of the martial arts dramas they saw on television. But the strength Wu Tian had displayed?

This wasn’t martial arts. This was something else entirely.

"Leave." After glancing at the soldiers, Wu Tian snapped his fingers. The sound instantly hypnotized them. The soldiers froze, their eyes growing hazy. They turned and walked away from the herbal company, their bodies moving involuntarily, their consciousness a blur.

Wu Tian stood there calmly.

"Boss," the thirty-six security guards said, approaching him with elated expressions.

Wu Tian gave his order. "Deal with the bodies now."

"Yes." The thirty-six guards nodded. To them, Wu Tian was the man who had given them a second chance at life. They immediately set about their grim task.

The Gun Sovereign stood his ground. He was not afraid; he did not fear death in service to his country.

The Gun Sovereign stepped forward, stopping just behind Wu Tian. "What do you intend to do with me?" he asked.

Gazing at the sky through the company’s window, Wu Tian said, "I gave you two options. Which did you choose?"

"I choose... to withdraw," the Gun Sovereign said through clenched teeth.

"A good choice," Wu Tian nodded. He could tell the Gun Sovereign didn’t fear death, but the man wanted to live, not die a pointless one. Therefore, he chose to withdraw.

"You may go."

Wu Tian waved his hand, signaling that the Gun Sovereign could leave at any time. The man had not harmed a single person, and Wu Tian was not one to kill indiscriminately.

The Gun Sovereign nodded, hoisted his spear—the Hao Long Gall—and prepared to leave. Suddenly, he remembered something, stopped, and turned back. "The Sword Emperor was once a true swordsman, but now he’s become vindictive and harbors ulterior motives. He has been searching for the Three Swords of Kong Zhou. If he obtains them, his swordsmanship will improve dramatically. You should be careful."

With that, the Gun Sovereign departed.

Wu Tian was surprised to hear the Sword Emperor was actually searching for the Three Swords of Kong Zhou. Han Guang, Cheng Ying, and Xiao Lian were all famous swords from Dragon Country’s ancient past.

The Sword Emperor? By what right does he think he can possess them? A cold smile touched Wu Tian’s lips.

Seeing that everything was over, Xia Qian and the other employees finally emerged from hiding.

"Are you all right?" Xia Qian asked.

Wu Tian shook his head.

As Wu Tian’s toys, they had to execute his orders to the letter. And they could never ask why. As toys, they had to place their complete trust in their master.

How could a person be so powerful? Do they think he’s Superman?
