"Boss, what do you plan to do with these guys?" A fawning smile was plastered on Mad Dog’s face as he tried to please Wu Tian. He knew that if he wanted to take down Hatchet Four, he needed Wu Tian.
Seeing this, the people from the Qin Corporation felt their eyes were about to pop out of their sockets.
What was going on? A director of the Logistics Department? Had the world gone mad?
Qin Yuhan watched thoughtfully. She certainly didn’t want Wu Tian getting involved with people like these.
Wu Tian glanced at the respectful gazes from Mad Dog and his men and gave a slight shake of his head. His ambitions lay with the Starry Sea.
"I already told you. Don’t let them see tomorrow’s sun," Wu Tian said, his voice light and his tone mild, without a trace of Killing Intent.
But upon hearing his words, Number One, Number Two, and the others couldn’t help but shudder.
So cool! That was exactly the kind of man Mad Dog had always wanted to be.
"Alright, Boss! Since you’ve said so, I, Mad Dog, will see it done." Mad Dog wasn’t about to miss this chance to curry favor with Wu Tian. He immediately barked at his men, "Drag them away! Don’t pollute the Boss’s eyes."
"Yes, sir!"
Mad Dog’s men stepped forward and dragged Wang Wei, Number One, Number Two, and the others away.
"How could this happen?"
"I have no idea."
"This is all Wang Wei’s fault!"
"Exactly!"
Number One, Number Two, Number Three, and Number Four all grumbled about Wang Wei as they were being hauled off.
"Alright, I’m leaving this to you. I’ll contact you; you don’t need to contact me," Wu Tian said before turning to leave.
*Gently I am leaving, just as gently as I came; I gently wave my hand, saying goodbye to the western clouds.*
At that moment, Wu Tian seemed to embody this very sentiment.
Mad Dog nodded, his admiration for Wu Tian growing by the day. He turned to his men. "Drag them into the side alley."
Once in the alley, Mad Dog commanded again, "Remember, don’t let them see tomorrow’s sun."
His men nodded. Wu Tian’s words had a deeper meaning. It didn’t necessarily mean they had to die. Some punishments were worse than death.
As Mad Dog finished speaking, his men flashed ruthless smiles and set upon Number One and the others.
"No, please!"
"I was wrong!"
Wang Wei watched, a cocktail of shock and fear churning inside him. He couldn’t understand. Wu Tian was dressed simply and didn’t appear to be rich or powerful. So why did Mad Dog and his men treat him like a god?
