Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 1099

Lilian’s eyes flickered with a cold, predatory glint. "Drop him right in front of her. This is a gift I painstakingly prepared just for her, after all. It is only polite to deliver it directly to show my sincerity."

The two men promptly dumped the body at Renee’s feet.

A collective gasp rippled through the hall as the guests caught sight of the figure on the floor. Those who could not stomach the gore shielded their eyes immediately.

"That is horrific. His face is practically unrecognizable."

"Look at his limbs. They are twisted in completely the wrong directions. I would bet everything they are shattered."

"I never would have guessed. Lilian looks so delicate, yet she managed to do that to a grown man. Her skills must be incredible."

"Exactly. Did you not hear that woman say she sent an entire group after Lilian? And yet Lilian walked in here on her own two feet."

Renee stared at the man before her in absolute shock. Even though he was beaten beyond recognition, she could still make out his features.

Lilian watched the terror dawn on the woman’s face and let out a cold laugh. "What is the matter, Renee? Do you not recognize him? This is your most capable subordinate. He was so loyal he was willing to die to keep your secrets. Out of respect for that devotion, I felt compelled to bring him here so he could see you one last time. Are you surprised?"

A short distance away, Sebastian stood frozen, his deep eyes fixed on Lilian. He watched her handle the situation with such effortless confidence that he forgot everything else around him.

He had known it. He knew she would be fine. His girl was far too capable to fall so easily. She had promised to be with him for lifetimes to come; how could she ever break her word?

"Lilian," he called out, his voice rich and magnetic. He began to walk toward her.

"Sebastian! Are you sure you want her and not me?" a sharp, piercing scream rang out from behind him.
