Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 11

Lillian discovered that Sebastian was not in Kingston, and for the time being, tracking him down seemed impossible. Reluctantly, she decided not to push the issue further.

Before she left, Simon handed her his business card with a warm smile. “If you ever need anything while you’re in Ravenshire, don’t hesitate to reach out,” he said kindly. Without a second thought, Lillian accepted it, understanding that her journey ahead was long and that forging connections could only serve her well.

After departing from the Carter residence, Lillian remained in Ravenshire for a few days to gather her thoughts and prepare herself before heading to Solara.

This visit to Ravenshire wasn’t solely about finding Sebastian. He had pressing business matters to attend to. Prior to leaving, he had sent Karina Nelson ahead to Solara to oversee several plots of land he was interested in acquiring.

Solara was a bustling international port city, renowned for its rapidly expanding economy and vibrant atmosphere. Sebastian intended to establish himself there for two main reasons: its promising economic prospects and its close proximity to Kingston, which would allow him to stay informed about developments back home.

To keep up with her education, Lillian had also enrolled at Riverdale High School in Solara, with the new semester set to begin in just a few days.

At the station, Karina observed Lillian stepping out, dressed in a white tracksuit and a baseball cap pulled low over her face. Despite the shadow cast by the cap, a subtle sparkle lingered in Lillian’s bright eyes, and a faint, almost imperceptible smile tugged at the corner of her lips.

“How are you holding up, Lillian? You must be exhausted,” Karina said casually as she reached to take Lillian’s backpack.

Lillian responded with a playful pout. “Karina, you’re exaggerating. I only have one bag. How could I possibly be tired?”

Karina’s presence was more than just a helper; she was someone Lillian had saved four years ago. Lillian never pressed her about her past, and in return, Karina’s gratitude had blossomed into a deep loyalty. She had chosen to stay by Lillian’s side, managing many of her external affairs over the years. Karina’s care went beyond duty—sometimes she acted like an older sister, other times like a mother, always watching over Lillian out of genuine affection and a desire to protect her.

Naturally, Lillian’s arrival drew attention. People nearby had already started noticing her, some even discreetly pulling out their phones to snap pictures. Sensing the growing interest, Lillian and Karina quickly left the station to avoid any unwanted attention.

Unbeknownst to them, someone had already uploaded a photo online. The image showed a young woman with a backpack, one hand casually tucked into her pocket. Although the baseball cap shaded her eyes, her delicate and refined features remained visible. The caption read: “Saw this girl at the station. Her aura is one in a century. Anyone know which school she’s from? Looking to connect!”

What they didn’t realize was that this seemingly innocent post would soon lead a certain man directly to Lillian’s whereabouts.

Meanwhile, in a sprawling villa nestled in Solara, inside the master bedroom of the main building, a man reclined lazily on a couch. He was wrapped in a black silk robe, loosely tied at the waist, with his long legs crossed comfortably.
