Once Ryan was discharged from the hospital, Lillian escorted him to the towering headquarters of Skyreach Group. As they approached the gleaming skyscraper, Ryan couldn’t help but feel a surge of awe. The building’s sleek glass facade reflected the afternoon sun, casting shimmering patterns on the bustling city streets below.

Unaware of the storm they had stirred, Lillian and Ryan arrived at the CEO’s sleek, glass-walled office. Moments later, Karina entered, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

“You little troublemaker,” Karina teased, settling onto the plush couch and casting a playful glance at Ryan. “You’ve barely set foot here and already stirred up the entire company. Everyone’s dying to know who you are and what your connection to the chairman might be.”

Lillian let out a soft laugh. “Karina, this is the helper I found for you—Ryan.”

Turning to Ryan, she added, “And Ryan, this is Karina, the General Manager of Skyreach Group.”

The two exchanged firm handshakes, a mutual respect evident in their gestures.

Karina raised a teasing eyebrow. “Lillian, you really do have the best taste—knowing I prefer handsome men!”

Lillian blinked in surprise, glanced at Ryan, and then burst into laughter.

“Don’t mind her, Ryan. Karina’s always like this,” Lillian explained with a grin.

Ryan chuckled, clearly unbothered. “No worries. Being admired by a beautiful woman is quite the honor.”
