She leaned in slightly, lowering her voice. “I was going to tell Mr. Whitmore, but honestly, I don’t know what spell Ms. Harrington has cast on him. He seems completely oblivious to all of it.”

Hans’ assistant chimed in, her tone thick with contempt. “You should’ve seen it—those shameless displays of affection out in the open. It was disgraceful. Hans even tried to step in, but guess what? They not only ignored her, they flipped it around and made her look like the villain. So ungrateful.”
