Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 303

**TITLE: The Billionaire’s Last Obsession series 303**
**CONTENT: Chapter 303 Trouble at the Hot Spring**

Not too far off, Noreen stood frozen, her heart in turmoil as she watched the two of them interact so intimately. The sight was like a dagger to her chest, twisting painfully, making it hard for her to draw a breath. So, it was true—she was nothing more than a fleeting thought in his mind. All those years of devotion, all those moments she had clung to hope, now felt utterly pointless. But after investing so much of herself in him, how was she expected to simply let go? The idea was as unbearable as it was ludicrous.

Cameron ambled over to Travis, hands shoved casually into his pockets, a self-satisfied grin plastered on his face. “Well, well, Mr. Travis. Isn’t it fascinating how fate weaves its tapestry? Old friends reunited, and yet, not a single greeting? What’s the matter?” His tone dripped with mockery, the kind that could easily ignite a spark of tension.

Travis, however, kept his gaze fixed on the ground, the silence stretching uncomfortably between them.

Lyla, sensing the air thick with unease, turned towards the small gathering of onlookers. “Mr. Travis, what’s going on with you?” she asked, her brow furrowing in concern.

Travis felt a wave of panic wash over him, rendering him momentarily speechless. How could anyone not know who Sebastian was? His father had instilled a singular lesson in him time and time again: it was far better to offend the King of Hell than to cross Sebastian. The rumors surrounding that man were enough to chill anyone to the bone; he was merciless, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. Though Travis had a reputation for being reckless, he wasn’t foolish. He could sense when the tide had turned against him, and right now, it was crashing down.

“N-no, nothing,” he stuttered, desperate to downplay the situation. “Just joking around with the two ladies. Nothing, really.”

Lyla could see the reluctance in Travis’s demeanor, but for reasons she couldn’t quite articulate, she felt compelled to make things a little more difficult for Lillian.

Tilting her head with feigned curiosity, she asked, “That bruise—who gave it to you?”

Travis shot a quick, nervous glance at Lillian, his heart racing. “I ran into something. My own fault,” he blurted out, the words tumbling out in a rush.

At that moment, all he wished for was for this entire ordeal to evaporate so he could escape as quickly as possible.

Yet, he had seriously underestimated the foolishness of those surrounding him.

One of the women standing nearby, eager to stir the pot, chimed in, “Ran into something? Please. That woman hit you.” Her finger jabbed accusingly in Lillian’s direction, the accusation hanging in the air like a dark cloud.
