Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 377

**The Billionaire’s Last Obsession series 377**
**Chapter 377 Foster’s Discovery**

Triny’s fingers nervously twisted the delicate hem of her dress, her gaze flitting to the ground as if the floor might offer her some kind of refuge from the oppressive atmosphere. “I… I bought it from a stranger. I really don’t know anything else,” she managed to articulate, her voice trembling and barely audible, thick with an undercurrent of dread.

Sebastian’s face darkened, his sharp features sharpening into a mask of cold authority. A storm brewed behind his icy blue eyes, and the silence in the room became suffocating. “Since Ms. Triny is unwilling to cooperate, I suggest we abandon this matter entirely. I ask you all to leave at once,” he declared, his voice a commanding force that brooked no dissent.

Mr. Morten, acutely aware of the tension crackling in the air, leaned closer, his whisper barely rising above the silence. “So, Mr. Whitmore has no intention of showing even a hint of mercy,” he observed, a note of resignation creeping into his tone.

Sebastian’s lips curled into a disdainful sneer, his demeanor radiating an unyielding chill. “My fiancée has made our position abundantly clear. This little token from the Lindt family? We’ve accepted it. And let me remind you, the future stretches long before us,” he asserted, his words dripping with a ruthless finality.

The glint of determination in Sebastian’s eyes sent a shiver down Mr. Morten’s spine. Realizing the futility of their presence, he stood abruptly, the chair scraping against the floor as he prepared to leave. “It appears our visit today was ill-advised. We have nothing more to gain here. We shall take our leave,” he stated, his voice steady as he strode towards the exit, not daring to glance back.

“Sebastian, please, I truly regret it. Just forgive me this once,” Triny implored, desperation lacing her words as fear constricted her heart. What if this was the last time she ever saw him? The thought was unbearable.

But Sebastian remained as unyielding as a winter frost, his eyes devoid of warmth or understanding.

Leon, acting on Sebastian’s orders, grasped Triny firmly by the arm, pulling her away with a force that denied her even the chance to cast a final glance at the man who had become her world.

Once they were gone, Sebastian turned his attention to Foster, his voice slicing through the lingering silence with a sharp authority. “From this moment onward, I want you to keep a vigilant eye on every single member of the Lindt family. No detail is too insignificant to overlook,” he commanded, his tone leaving no room for hesitation.

“Yes, sir,” Foster replied, the urgency in his voice evident as he nodded, ready to execute the order without delay.

“And what of the task I assigned you earlier? How is that progressing?” Sebastian inquired, his brow furrowing as he braced himself for the answer.

Foster straightened, maintaining his composure under the weight of Sebastian’s intense scrutiny. “It’s underway, sir. However, I must bring to your attention something significant. We’ve uncovered that the majority of the companies associated with the Lindt family are heavily invested in pharmaceutical research. Each one operates its own laboratory.”

“Laboratories?” Sebastian echoed, his frown deepening as the implications of Foster’s revelation began to sink in.

“Indeed. It raises the question—could the drug you encountered have originated from one of these labs? If so, it suggests that the Lindt family and the Stint clan from Radovia may be entangled in a much larger scheme. The real question is—what is their ultimate objective?” Foster continued, his insights igniting a storm of thoughts within Sebastian’s mind.

The return of Renee to Dracovia was proving to be anything but innocuous.
