**The Billionaire’s Last Obsession series 413**
**Chapter 413 Triny’s Provocation, Part Three**
Lillian’s demeanor shifted abruptly, her eyes narrowing with a fierce intensity that radiated pure malice. She seized the woman’s chin with a grip that felt like iron, her voice dripping with contempt as she spat, “You want to know why? Because when I found Sebastian lying there, drenched in his own blood and utterly still, all I could think of was how much I wanted to rip you apart limb from limb.”
The words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of her fury. “I’ve fought tooth and nail to contain my rage, to suppress the memories of that horrific night. But you—oh, you keep pushing me, dragging me back to that moment like a cruel puppet master. There’s a saying that rings true: if you don’t court death, you won’t meet it.”
Triny’s eyes widened in disbelief, her shock rendering her momentarily speechless as she absorbed the venomous glare from Lillian. For a fleeting second, the fight drained from her, and she forgot to resist. Tears began to pool in her eyes, spilling over as she choked out a pitiful sob. “Ms. Harrington, how can you treat me like this? I’ve already promised to stay away from Sebastian. Why can’t you just let me go?”
Lillian’s resolve wavered for the briefest moment, confusion flickering across her features, but before she could respond, the door to the hospital room swung open with a force that echoed through the sterile space. Sebastian strode in, his expression a mask of cold determination, flanked by Morten and Leon, who followed closely behind.
Leon’s eyes blazed with fury as he took in the scene, his voice booming with righteous anger. “Lillian, what on earth are you doing to my daughter? Can’t you see she’s already endured enough pain?”
Without hesitation, Leon lunged forward, shoving Lillian’s hand away from Triny’s chin, forcing her to stumble back a couple of steps.
Sebastian was immediately by Triny’s side, his concern palpable as he steadied her. “Are you okay?” he asked, his voice laced with genuine worry.
Triny, overwhelmed by emotion, collapsed into her father’s arms, her body wracked with sobs. “Daddy, I told her I wouldn’t bother Sebastian anymore. Why does she keep pushing me like this?”
Leon’s heart twisted painfully at the sight of his distraught daughter. “It’s alright, sweetheart; you’ve got your father here with you,” he murmured, wrapping his arms around her protectively.
Meanwhile, Morten’s piercing gaze was fixed intently on Lillian, his tone sharp as he addressed her. “Ms. Harrington, don’t you owe us an explanation? Haven’t you tormented Triny enough? For your fiancé’s sake, she’s already lost her chance to perform again; her entire career lies in ruins. And yet, you continue to harass her?”
A realization dawned on Lillian. If she had any doubt about Triny’s true intentions today, it would have been an insult to her intelligence to ignore it any longer.
