**The Billionaire’s Last Obsession series 460**
**Chapter 460: First Meeting**
With a mischievous glint in her eye, Isabelle discreetly kicked Elsie beneath the table, then shot a playful wink at Lillian. “Lillian, aren’t you going to introduce us?” she prompted, her voice laced with teasing anticipation.
Just as Lillian prepared to respond, Sebastian interjected, his tone smooth and confident. “Hello. I’m Lillian’s fiancé; you can refer to me as Mr. Whitmore.”
Isabelle’s gaze widened as she took in the striking figure before her, and she turned back to Lillian, feigning outrage. “Lillian, how could you be so cruel? You snagged such a dashing fiancé and didn’t even give us a heads-up? How on earth are we supposed to compete with that from now on?”
Elsie let out a laugh, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “See? I told you! Just from his voice, I knew Mr. Whitmore had to be a looker, and not just any looker—a top-tier one at that. I was right, wasn’t I?”
Lillian offered them a sheepish smile, feeling a mixture of pride and embarrassment. “Alright, alright! Enough of this. Let’s eat before our appetites vanish completely. I hope that little exchange didn’t spoil your hunger.”
“Not a chance,” Isabelle replied without hesitation, her enthusiasm unwavering. “I would never turn down a good meal; everything else is just background noise.”
“Exactly! We don’t come here often, so we have to make it count, right, Mr. Whitmore?” Elsie chimed in, her excitement infectious.
Sebastian’s lips curved into a faint smile, a hint of warmth in his eyes. “Tonight, indulge yourselves as much as you desire until you’re completely satisfied. And I want to express my gratitude to all of you for taking such wonderful care of Lillian these past few days.” With that, he turned toward the server. “Please bring the menu again; let’s see what other delights they’d like to try.”
The waiter promptly laid the menu before Isabelle and the others, a fresh opportunity for culinary exploration.
As she flipped through the pages, Isabelle’s face lit up with glee. “Since Mr. Whitmore insists, I won’t hold back at all!” she declared, rattling off a delightful list of dishes to the waiter with unrestrained enthusiasm.
By the time their meal reached its conclusion, the sun had surrendered to the night, casting a soft glow over the world outside. A gentle chill crept into the evening air, prompting Sebastian to drape his jacket over Lillian’s shoulders, adjusting it with care to ensure she stayed warm.
Stepping out of the restaurant, they were greeted by the sight of two cars waiting patiently at the entrance, the night’s plans unfolding smoothly.
“I’ve arranged for Unno to drive you all home,” Sebastian announced, his tone firm yet considerate. “It’s late, and this little one needs her rest, so I won’t have her see you off personally.”
