Chapter 484 Trouble Audrey Brought

Lyla faced the group before her. “Who are you people? Don’t you know causing trouble in The Midnight Club is forbidden?”

“Hmph. This little girl offended our boss. No matter where she is, she has to come with us,” the leader sneered, his eyes sharp and cruel. “So my advice to you, miss, is not to meddle; unless you want to bring disaster on yourself.”

“Oh, is that so?” Lyla let out a cold laugh. “I didn’t expect anyone in Kingston to dare speak to me, Lyla, like that. But since you insist, I’m making this my business.”

The man’s glare darkened. “In that case, don’t blame us for being rough.” He gestured sharply to the others. “Take them both.”

The men surged forward. Lyla moved first, and even Lillian hadn’t imagined she was capable of such skill.

But there were too many of them.

They overwhelmed her–her strength drained quickly, her stance collapsing.

One man caught her off guard and swung a vicious kick toward her waist.

Just as it was about to land, Lillian yanked her out of the way and sent the attacker flying with a sharp kick of her own.

Lyla glanced at her in surprise. She hadn’t expected this woman to rush in and pull her to safety.

Still fighting, Lillian snapped, “Don’t just stand there–fight! Can’t you see how many of them there are?”

The two of them battled against more than a dozen men. Lyla was clearly struggling; worse, she had already taken a couple of hard kicks.

Lillian’s strength was fading too.

Meanwhile, upstairs in the ninth–floor suite, Foster burst in. “Mr. Whitmore, something’s wrong–Ms. Harrington’s in a fight!”

Sebastian dropped his cards at once and rushed out.

Cameron and the others hurried after him.

By the time they reached the ground floor, a crowd had gathered in a circle, cheering, “Go!

Go!”

Several men in black were already groaning on the ground. Lillian was locked in with one attacker when another leapt up behind her, aiming a brutal kick.

Sebastian swept her into his arms just in time, then drove his foot into the man, sending him crashing back a full meter.

The crowd fell silent. The tall, imposing man cradling the fragile girl looked like a superhero stepping out of a graphic novel.

He set Lillian gently in a safe corner, his voice soft. “Stay here, sweetheart. I’ll be right back.”

She was nearly drained of strength now; weakly, she nodded.

The men in black eyed Sebastian with hostility. One barked, “Kid, I suggest you stay out of this. That woman injured too many of my brothers. We’re taking her with us no matter what.”
