Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 518

**The Billionaire’s Last Obsession series 518**
**Chapter 518: Madison’s Threat**

Richard let out a low, amused chuckle, a sound that seemed to resonate with an air of confidence. “You see, I always honor my commitments. The last time I ventured into this territory, the findings were less than stellar, but it wasn’t a total waste either. So, I believe there’s still a debt to settle here. And I’ve been made aware of the little spat between you and my aunt. Should you ever feel inclined to resolve it, just seek me out. I would be more than willing to lend a hand.” With that, he produced a sleek, jet-black business card from the depths of his pocket, extending it toward her with a flourish.

Lillian’s gaze flickered from the card to the enigmatic man seated across from her. She contemplated the implications for a brief moment before reaching out, her fingers brushing against the cool surface of the card. “In that case, I’ll graciously accept Mr. Stint’s offer of goodwill.”

As she accepted the card, a smile crept across Richard’s lips, one that held a depth of meaning that was impossible to decipher.

Just then, Madison made her entrance, her presence eclipsing the moment. “Am I interrupting anything important?” she inquired, her voice smooth yet laced with an edge.

Richard merely shrugged, his indifference palpable.

Madison turned her attention to Lillian, a calculated smile forming on her lips. “I’d like to have a private word with Ms. Harrington. Mr. Stint, you don’t mind, do you?”

“For a beauty like her? I’m always willing to step aside,” Richard replied, rising from his seat and exiting the lounge without a backward glance.

Madison slid into Richard’s vacated chair, and the warmth of her smile vanished instantly. Her eyes glinted with a sharp mockery as she regarded Lillian. “Quite the little schemer you are, Ms. Harrington. You’ve managed to worm your way into the old man’s good graces, all for this very moment.”

“What exactly do you mean by that?” Lillian asked, tilting her head, her expression deceptively innocent. “Are you suggesting that Mr. Merrick is so senile that he could be manipulated by someone as young as me?”
