The chef beside them bowed respectfully. “Master instructed that you two young ladies are welcome to dine with Miss.”

“Well then, what are we waiting for? Let’s eat first!” Isabelle declared, dragging Lillian inside.

When she saw the table covered with dishes, Lillian’s forehead darkened. This looks like I’m being fattened like

a pig.

Just then, her phone rang. She glanced at the number, her lips curving into a smile before she answered. “Mr. Whitmore.”

Sebastian’s deep, magnetic voice came through. “Do you like what the chef prepared? If not, I’ll have him change it.”

Lillian scolded lightly. “You’re being ridiculous. This is school–how am I supposed to survive the gossip?”

Sebastian chuckled. “I don’t trust you to eat properly there. I’ve already spoken with your principal, so don’t worry. Just tell the chef what you want, and he’ll prepare it ahead of time.”

“Alright then,” Lillian said with a soft laugh.

When she hung up, Isabelle and Elsie exchanged teasing looks. “Public display of affection, huh?”

Meanwhile, at Sinclair Group’s laboratory, Henry was livid. “The press conference is Wednesday, and you’re telling me we’re still in the testing stage? What am I supposed to show them then?”

A researcher in a white coat answered nervously, “Mr. Sinclair, under normal conditions, the testing would take six months. But with your pressure, it’s impossible to produce accurate data so soon.”

“I don’t care.” Henry slammed his hand down. “Wednesday, I want results. The formula came from me, the main ingredient came from me. If Skyreach Group can deliver results, then so can Sinclair Group. I don’t want excuses–production must begin.”

The researchers exchanged uneasy glances. Finally, the head researcher nodded. “Understood. We’ll make it happen.”

Satisfied, Henry stormed out of the lab.

The remaining staff looked grim. One whispered, “The formula has problems–why would he insist on fake results?”

The manager stared down at the incomplete data. “When businessmen only care about profit, nothing else matters. Get it done. After this storm passes, we’ll finally be able to rest.”

The others sighed and went back to work.
