Sebastian sat beside her, leaning lazily against the sofa, his elbow propping up his head. “Did he steal Skyreach Group’s formula?”
“Yes.” Lillian nodded.
“And the theft of the herbs–that’s true as well?”
“It is.”
“Then since both are facts, this is nothing more than a game of deception in business. Don’t let feelings cloud it.” Sebastian’s tone was steady. “Besides, Sinclair Group has already been declining under Henry’s control for years. The reason he took such a desperate step was to try to restore its former glory. But he chose the wrong path. The truth is, Henry has no talent for business. Lillian stood beside him. “How much have we acquired?”
Without pausing, Ryan kept his eyes on the screen. “Fifteen percent. Do we keep going?”
“Continue,” Lillian instructed.
By the time the market closed that afternoon, Ryan finally stopped typing.
“So what’s the total?” Lillian asked.
“We now hold twenty–five percent,” Ryan reported. “Add that to the fifteen percent from before, and Skyreach Group controls forty percent of Sinclair Group.”

Lillian nodded. “That’s enough. With that much, we can control the entire company.”

Ryan frowned slightly. “But Chairman, Sinclair Group is on the brink of bankruptcy. Why acquire so
