In the hall, a middle–aged man sat on a sofa, holding a teacup and intently examining a chessboard on the table.
Gray walked over cautiously. “Mr. Mildew, Mr. Leonard has been brought in.”
George did not look up, only offering an “Mhm,” and placed a piece on the board. Then he picked up another.
Only after finishing the entire game did he slowly look toward Leonard and smile. “Mr. Leonard, long time no see. How have you been? However, seeing all that white hair on your head does make me a little regretful. After all, once upon a time, the name Leonard was known throughout all of Dracovia. To see you so aged in just twenty–odd years–I must say, I’m quite disappointed.”
Leonard looked at George and said coldly, “Is that so? Mr. Mildew hasn’t changed much from the past. You seem just as contemptible, only capable of using despicable, low–level tactics.”
George stood up with a smile. “Whether despicable or downright dirty, as long as it gets you, Mr. Leonard, here, that’s enough. The process isn’t important; the result is what matters most, isn’t it?”

George walked to a nearby table and picked up a remote control. A huge screen appeared on one wall. When the screen was activated, it displayed the live broadcast of the CR Medical Exchange Conference.
