Just then, a notification sound went off.

Lilian picked up her phone and opened the message. A photograph appeared on the screen, showing a white–haired elderly man lying quietly on a bed in a space less than five square meters.

When Lilian clearly saw the man’s face, she instantly stood up, staring at the figure in shock.

Elsie and Isabelle exchanged confused glances and looked at Lilian. They had know for a long time but had never seen such a panicked expression on her face.

Immediately afterward, the phone rang.

A cold, sinister male voice came through the speaker. “Did you see the photo? Isn’t that a lovely surprise?”

Lilian said coldly, “Who are you?”

Gray sneered. “Who I am isn’t important. What is important is that our boss wants to meet you. So, please be good enough to come with us.”
