Chapter 799 Sebastian’s Scheme
Lilian glanced at George, then followed the man in black directly out of the office, knowing that she must now understand the inner workings of this place and couldn’t act blindly. If she were alone, she could certainly escape, but with her Master here, she had to ensure nothing
went wrong.
Meanwhile.
The man stood by the floor–to–ceiling window, looking out with cold eyes. Dressed in a high- end, custom–tailored black vintage suit, his Patek Philippe watch reflected a cold, dim light, and the jade cufflinks at his cuffs were understated yet luxurious. Only a dark thumb ring looked slightly out of place.
The bedroom door was pushed open.
Foster walked in and handed the man a magazine and newspaper. “The Stint family has already released the news, and Mildew Corp’s stock price has begun to fall.”
Sebastian took the newspaper, looked at the headlines, and a cold smile crossed his thin lips. “I didn’t expect Callen to have so much Mildew Corp dirt. It’s truly a surprise. It seems the enemy of my enemy is indeed the best partner.”
Foster asked in a low voice, “What do we do next?”
Sebastian looked at the newspaper in his hand and said coldly, “Since it has begun, notify the company. Tell them to start acquiring shares. Buy every share they can.”
“Yes,” Foster replied, then walked out.
At this moment, Unno also walked in. “The task you assigned has been completed.”
Sebastian sneered, “Very good. Keep a close watch on them. Since the Mildew family likes to play these despicable games, let them experience the taste of being threatened themselves. As the saying goes, fight fire with fire. I’m sure they can sympathize.”
Unno hesitated. “What if the Mildew family doesn’t care about these descendants?”
Sebastian’s lips curled into a bloodthirsty smile. “Whether they live or die depends on their value to the Mildew family. If the Mildew family doesn’t care, then I can’t be blamed. We’ll simply dispose of them and capture new ones. There must be one or two who are valued, unless the Mildew family patriarch believes the Mildew family only needs George.”
“Yes, I understand, sir. When should we leave for the Mildew family residence?” Unno asked.
1/2
Sebastian raised his wrist and glanced at his watch. “Let’s go now. After all, lunchtime is when things are busiest.”
Unno respectfully said, “Yes.”
