Rewrite the Apocalypse dream (by Dee Cari) novel Chapter 319

Chapter 319 Glacier Wants To Join The Team

Finished

The overwhelming weight of the timeline, the looming earthquakes, and the impending war suddenly crashed down on Joanna all at once. The room felt entirely too small, her breath catching in her throat as the pressure of keeping everyone alive threatened to crush her.

Sensing her distress, Julian walked over to the couch. Without a word, he sat beside her and gently took her hand, his steady grip grounding her against the panic. On her other side, RJ leaned her head softly onto Joanna’s shoulder, offering a quiet, comforting warmth that anchored her completely.

The silence of the room was broken by Caleb’s soft, earnest voice. “Joanna, you have the answer to this. know you do. Your abilities and this team can truly defeat your enemies. I can only sense that your true revenge will be completed this time.”

Joanna snapped her head up to look at Caleb.

In that exact instant, the puzzle pieces fell into place. The fog of doubt completely vanished. She realized she was not the limited person from her old dreams or past timelines. Her past restrictions were entirely broken, and this crazy, powerful family sitting around her was the exact boost she needed to change fate.

A sudden, fierce confidence poured into her, replacing every ounce of her fear with cold, absolute certainty. They weren’t just going to survive this; they were going to dismantle Blood Fang entirely.

Caleb spoke again, this time slightly hesitantly. “I know you don’t want to hear this, but you should recruit Glacier and Fletcher.”

Joanna frowned deeply at that, her newfound confidence hitting a sudden wall of resistance.

Caleb quickly held up his hand to stop her from cutting him off. “I promise you, they are meant to be a part of your team.”

“I don’t mind Fletcher,” Joanna argued, her voice tight with disbelief. “But Glacier? Once he is in, I won’t be able to get away from him!”

“Both of them can be blood bonded but left where they are,” Caleb spoke up, his tone shifting back to that knowing, dreamweaver calm. “It amazes me that you haven’t figured out how much they respect you already.”

Joanna paused, looking thoroughly doubtful. The image of the terrifying ice ruler melting a traitor’s legs into floorboards was still entirely fresh in her mind.

Caleb laughed softly at her expression. “You are the Demoness. Glacier would never freeze you. But without Fletcher’s help, the casualties from the earthquakes and the horde will be enormous. Also, in the next few months, you need to bring them together-and communication is best done through the mind link watches.”

The idea of tying Glacier to her inner circle made Joanna’s stomach twist, but looking around at Julian, RJ, and the rest of her team, she knew Caleb’s visions were never wrong. She had to play the long game.

The soft, muffled sound of Glacier calling her name cut through the tense quiet of the living room.

Joanna stood up from the couch, pulling her hand gently from Julian’s grip as RJ lifted her head from her shoulder. “Glacier is done,” Joanna announced to the room, her voice steady and full of her renewed resolve.

Chapter 319 Glacier Wants To Join The Team

“Let’s go.”

Finished

th a sharp wave of her hand, the air rippled with spatial distortion. In the blink of an eye, she teleported he entire team out of the villa and dropped them right into the center of Glacier’s freezing office.

The transition was jarring. The air inside the closed-ice room was freezing, thick with the smell of frost and old blood. Glacier stood behind his desk, his ice blades gone but his expression still dark and grim. On the floor, the ice blocks around Sam and Pebbles remained, but the two traitors were entirely silent now, completely broken by whatever Glacier had done to them in those quiet minutes.

The sudden arrival of a bunch of powerful, high-tier ability users filling the small office made Glacier instantly tense. His eyes narrowed, darting across the imposing forms of Briggs, Kailee, Julian, RJ, and Will. But instead of attacking, he looked directly at Joanna, waiting to see what the Demoness was about to do

next.

Sensing the irritation rolling off Joanna, Glacier reported bluntly, “I have some information. Do you need anything from them?”

Joanna glanced down at Sam and Pebbles. They were barely alive, frozen, bloodied, and completely broken.

She shook her head no.

Without a single word of hesitation, Glacier killed both of them instantly. With a flick of his wrist, the thick ice wall trapping them inside shattered and vanished from the door and windows. He keyed his walkie- talkie, calling Anderson back into the room.

“Take them to the basement and bury them,” Glacier ordered coldly.

Anderson stepped inside, his face completely blank as if this were just another standard Tuesday. He efficiently grabbed the two bodies, dragging them out of the office. The heavy wooden door clicked shut behind him, leaving Joanna’s entire team standing in the freezing, silent room with the lethal ruler of the ice palace.

Caleb spoke up, cutting through the awkward silence. “We have a solution, but we want you to trust us.”

“I am listening,” Glacier said, his cold eyes tracking the young dream weaver.

Joanna rolled her eyes at Caleb, then stepped forward. “Blood Fang is coming for your territory. I can help you hold it. But I need your complete trust to do it. I have a power-a way to bring you into my storage space-but only a blood partner gets that. Join, and I will help you keep your city. In return, you help me destroy the enemy we share.”

She reached into her coat and pulled out the blood partner contract, holding it out to him. “Read this carefully.”

He took the paper from her hand, turning to head back toward his desk. As he did, Julian stepped forward, a sharp crackle of electricity letting loose from his fingers as he spoke coldly. “You would be a part of the team. But not a husband, got it!”

The entire team froze, looking at Julian in absolute disbelief. The collective thought in the room was identical: As if Joanna would ever want to marry Glenn the Honey Bunny Glacier.
