Before Timothy could even react, Steven hit him again.

His hands desperately clawed at his back. The sharp pain left him completely stunned, and his whole body twisted strangely.

A small smile rose on Steven’s lips.

After activating the Eye of Insight, everyone’s movements looked slower to him.

That’s right. I’m specifically targeting you.

Most of these guys only had A–rank combat skills

anyway.

Everyone watching was stunned by what Steven was doing.

Timothy finally broke down and screamed, “What are you idiots waiting for? Get him!”

The others rushed toward Steven at once.

But Steven moved through the group with ease. Not a single person could touch him.

Then Steven unleashed his crazy whip technique.

Smack!

“Ahhhh!”

Smack!

“Ouch! Damn it!”

The screams sounded like a pack of barking dogs.

Even while surrounded by eight people, Steven calmly swung the tree branch again and again, striking them all over their bodies.

Their bodies twisted in pain like giant gorillas trying to scratch their own backs.

The students nearby were completely dumbfounded.

Some even shut their eyes because they couldn’t bear to watch anymore.

“What’s happening over there?”

At another area of the combat arena, Rufus was personally accompanying Alan and Peter.

A smile rested on Rufus’s face.

“He’s surprisingly skilled. One against eight, and he’s still completely relaxed. I didn’t expect our school to have a hidden expert like this.”

Alan watched for a moment before slightly nodding.

“His mentality is extremely steady. Up to now, none of them have managed to touch him even once. They’re being completely overwhelmed. Even some of our squad members only match his level of combat awareness.”

Peter stared at Alan in shock. “Captain Greenwood, you think that highly of him?”

Alan said nothing more. He had already lost interest in continuing to watch.

“Rufus, please look after him for us. But don’t tell him about us yet.”

Rufus smiled. “No problem. I definitely won’t let anything happen to him.”

Alan nodded slightly. “Thank you.”

“No need to be polite.”

Alan and Peter then left, though Peter remained near the school entrance.

Rufus kept watching Steven fight, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly.

“He’s only a student, yet the Awakened Squad already noticed him. That’s basically the best advertisement our school could ask for.”

Rufus stayed there without leaving.

Meanwhile, Steven’s side had already become total chaos.

The eight students being whipped by Steven all showed fear in their eyes now. Their entire bodies ached terribly.

“Stop hitting us! Please stop! Ahhhh!”

They were practically numb from the whipping. Their eyes had turned red, and the pain felt even worse than being beaten with sticks or metal rods.

One after another, they collapsed onto the ground, twitching wildly.

Meanwhile, Steven continued focusing on Timothy.

Timothy’s face twisted horribly.

“Oh? Weren’t you acting all tough earlier?”
