Rebom. Apocalypse Ready, War Goddess by My Side
Chapter 34 Am I Dying?
Anxious voices immediately erupted through the earpiece.
“Peter!
“Peter! Retreat! Don’t fight to the death!” the captain, Alan, shouted.
Peter laughed weakly. “Captain, if I retreat, more people will die. My life isn’t worth much anyway.
Finished:
“Just remember to offer me a couple of hot girls‘ photos after I’m dead, so I won’t get lonely down there
A sorrowful voice came through the earpiece. “You bastard! You’re not allowed to die!”
Peter gave a miserable smile as a face surfaced in his mind.
“Darlene, find yourself a good man and get married.
“Enough talk. Captain, that kid’s got potential. Make sure you recruit him. I’m going!”
“Peter!”
Peter had already stopped listening to the voices coming through the earpiece.
His eyes held nothing but resolve.
“You filthy beasts! Come on! I’ll cut you all to pieces!”
Peter let out a savage, arrogant laugh.
Lightning crackled inside his eyes.
Bolts of electricity began erupting from every inch of his body:
His third Divine Sigil started trembling.
The sigil pattern power inside it surged wildly.
The Rat King sensed danger instantly.
Screech!
With a piercing shriek, the remaining three Level 2 Bloodfang Rats lunged at Peter like mad beasts.
Peter threw his head back and roared with laughter.
“Thousand Thunder Break!”
The voices of his teammates broke down in the earpiece.
“Peter!”
Under the blinding collision of lightning and violet light, Peter unleashed the very last of his strength.

Finished
His spear became like a raging thunder dragon. With one thrust, thunder and fire exploded outward!
The three Bloodfang Rats were pierced clean through by a single strike, skewered together on the spear.
Then, he drove the attack straight toward the Level 3 Rat King.
At that exact moment, Steven arrived just in time to witness Peter’s final blaze of glory.
His eyes widened.
He could only watch as Peter thrust the spear toward the Level 3 Rat King.
Sensing overwhelming danger, the Rat King slammed its razor–sharp claws against the spear tip with all its might.
“Die!” Peter roared furiously.
Lightning exploded.
Crack!
The Rat King’s sharp claws shattered apart.
The spear punched straight into its chest.
At that moment, time itself seemed to freeze.
Steven felt his breathing stop.
You idiot… Don’t you know how to run?
Man and beast seemed locked in place.
Savage madness filled the Rat King’s crimson eyes.
It was in extreme agony.
Screech!
It let out another shrill cry.
Blood streamed from Peter’s mouth.
He stared at the struggling Rat King.
Am I dying?
Figures. I still couldn’t kill this beast.
If there hadn’t been so many Bloodfang Rats, maybe I would’ve won.
The light in his eyes gradually dimmed.
