Rewriting Fate with My Apex War Goddess (by Ezekiel Valor) novel Chapter 552

Reborn: Apocalypse Ready, War Goddess by My Side

Chapter 552 Hunt

The killing spree kept going, and at this rate, he’d wipe out every last beast in the hunting grounds,

Robby watched the feed and just about ran out of words. This tournament had officially becomes one- show.

He couldn’t do a thing about it, though. Frustrating as it was, the rules were rules,

There was no clause anywhere that let him stop Steven from hunting.

Another fifteen minutes ticked by.

Steven’s score crossed ten thousand.

He finally slowed down and came to a stop.

A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.

Hunting beasts felt so much cleaner than hunting people. No hesitation, no second-guessing, none of the messy considerations that came with fighting another human.

“At this point, nobody’s catching up to me,” he murmured to himself, glancing around the ruined clearing.

If he wiped out every remaining level 4 beast in the grounds, first place was basically locked in.

No point wasting time thinking about it.

He started tracking down the nearest level 4 beasts and took off running

Every so often he crossed paths with other competitors. He didn’t spare them a glance.

He had his own hunt to finish.

Another hour slipped by.

He’d cut down eight more level 4 beasts in that stretch, along with a scattering of smaller ones.

His score climbed past twenty thousand.

Now he could finally breathe easy.

There was less than two hours remained before the tournament ended.

He allowed himself to slow down, just a little.

Steven let out a short laugh. Did those clowns really think they could keep him from taking first place!

That thought brought another one right behind it. Had Tristan’s people actually made a move yet?

He scanned the horizon, searching for the other Rowenville students scattered across the grounds.

He spotted Bianca. He spotted Fiona. He picked out a few others as well.

Then his gaze landed on Griffin, and finally on Tristan.

It didn’t take long before something caught his attention.

A student from Orroux Academy was tearing into a Rowenville student, fists flying without mercy.

The attack was brutal, calculated, meant to do real damage.

By the time it was over, the Rowenville student had been beaten half to death.

There was no way that student could keep competing after taking a beating like that.

A cold, humorless sound rose in Steven’s throat.

“Fine. If Tristan wants to play dirty, I’ll make sure he doesn’t even crack the top twenty.

A heartbeat later, Steven’s whole body shot forward like an arrow loosed from a bow.

Up in the stands, the crowd stirred.

“Look! Steven’s not hunting beasts anymore! He’s only killing what’s directly in his path. What’s he going after?”

Nobody in the stands could figure out his angle.

!

Steven was moving at full speed now, faster than he’d moved all match.

Only a handful of sharp-eyed viewers pieced together what he was actually doing.

Right in the direction Steven was headed, something had just happened.

A Rowenville competitor had been beaten to the edge of consciousness by a student from Orroux Academ

It had only taken a few minutes.

Then Steven appeared directly in front of that Orroux competitor, closing the gap in an instant.

Someone in the crowd let out a startled shout. “He’s going after the Orroux kid!”

Understanding rippled through the stands.
