Apocalypse Ready, War Goddess by My Side
Chapter 585 The Muscle Maniac
Finish
With the two of them at its center, the shockwave swept across everything, sweeping the surroundings utterly clean.
Cyrus’s face was grim to the extreme.
He clearly heard the sound of his own bones cracking–his right arm had broken!
Boom!
An earth–shattering sound, rocking heaven and earth.
Ryker let out a wild, arrogant laugh. “A puny little level 6–get lost
A single furious roar.
It was as if some massive force were dragging Cyrus backward at frantic speed.
And the violent shockwave rattled his chest cavity into chaos, until a mouthful of blood he couldn’t hold back finally sprayed out.
Ryker looked rather worked up.
“Again! Again!”
He stamped in midair and shot out on pure physical strength alone, giving chase to Cyrus.
An earth–shaking great battle erupted.
Steven and Bianca watched the clash between the two of them just now, wordless for a long while.
“That’s insane! He collided with the guy on raw physical strength alone–it’s monstrous!” Steven sighed in
wonder.
teven.”
Bianca smiled. “One day, you’ll be even stronger than him, Steven.”
Steven nodded with a smile. “You bet!”
Steven carried Bianca down toward the ground.
The captain and the others had already dropped the Quantum Barrier.
Alan said, “Leave the rest to me. You two rest!”
As his voice fell, Alan charged out. With Darlene’s healing, his internal injuries were mostly recovered. Against these beasts, he wouldn’t be hurt so easily anymore.
Steven held a beast crystal in one hand, while his Immortal Body kept healing his wounds.
Steven asked, ‘Olivia, that’s your brother?!”
Chapter 585 The Muscle Maniac
Olivia smiled. “Yep, my big brother. A meathead–all he likes to do is train his muscles.”
Steven had no words.
Steven watched his and Cyrus’s battle from afar; it did look a bit reckless.
The whole way through, he fought using his own physical strength, every punch landing on flesh.
They fought until the sky itself was in upheaval.
A battle like that got the blood pumping just to watch.
Only, Steven was thinking too–if Cyrus got beaten to a pulp by Ryker and captured, would it throw off the captain’s plans?
Fuushed
Alan was in the thick of the slaughter too. Thankfully, the beasts surging in after had already thinned out from the start, so it was manageable enough to hold.
Olivia suddenly asked, “That werewolf–Vice Captain, do you know it?”
Steven fell silent a moment, then nodded, but said nothing more.
This wasn’t the time to tell anyone.
There was no telling whether someone was watching them from behind the scenes–the less he said these things, the better.
Steven turned it over. It was probably because of this egg that the old bastard had taken such a desperate gamble.
Just what is that egg?
Could his Beast Energy Conversion break it down?
Steven couldn’t help a flicker of excitement. If it could, then he really would step into Five–Sigil Divine General!
Steven’s brow knit slightly. That Cyrus could take beast form at all… that alone was baffling, and Steven hadn’t seemed to see the kind of power inside him that was inside Griffin’s body.
It left Steven puzzled–had Cyrus long since dissolved that kind of power into his own body?
What exactly was he using to turn into beast form?
Or else was he a beast to begin with, only turned into human shape…
These doubts were hard to untangle in Steven’s heart. He thought of the words his grandpa had told him– that the world was a hell of a lot more complicated than he thought
Ryker landed a midair punch and drove Cyrus straight down into the ground.
No new beasts emerged.
A complete success, and everyone still standing!
