Chapter 641 One Strike Through the Heart
Finisheit
The moment the beam shot toward its head, the Stormwing Eagle desperately forced itself slightly to the
side.
The beam tore through one of its wings, which spanned more than 30 feet. Even its purple lightning couldn’t stop the attack.
The beam blazed into the sky as the Stormwing Eagle let out an agonized screech.
Steven gave a cold snort and beat his wings.
The Skypiercer Spear surged with power once again as flames and golden light flared around its tip.
At the same time, the Beast Divine Sigil’s four-sigil pattern power surged into the spearhead.
The spear’s power reached its peak.
Steven roared, “Die!”
With his speed boosted to five times the speed of sound, Steven closed in on the Stormwing Eagle in the blink of an eye.
For the first time, the Stormwing Eagle sensed death closing in.
Acting on instinct, it lashed out at Steven with razor-sharp talons crackling with purple lightning.
But it was too late.
The spear plunged into the Stormwing Eagle’s chest and pierced its heart.
Boom!
Steven followed the Skypiercer Spear straight through the Stormwing Eagle’s body.
Blood sprayed across the sky as the Stormwing Eagle let out a shrill, mournful cry.
It plummeted from the sky.
Steven hovered high above and watched it fall with a cold expression.
He deactivated Scorchblood Ignition and descended after it to collect his spoils.
Meanwhile, Darby stood at Dawncrest, watching the battle in another sector.
One of his men’s signals suddenly vanished.
He frowned and looked toward the southeast.
“He’s dead?”

He knew the Orroux Celestial Army’s Wyrinshade Squad was stationed in the southeastern sector. Alan, Steven, and the others had been sent there as reinforcements.
Several level 6 beasts had been sent into that area, yet he had still lost one of his men.
His heart sank. Is Steven behind this again?
He couldn’t understand what had happened, but he couldn’t spare anyone to handle that sector right now.
He gave a cold snort.
“Then let’s make this interesting!”
“Legion!” Darby called out.
A dark, ragged figure materialized behind him.
“Lord Fiendspawn.”
Darby said, “The Crystalwing Tiger in the southeast is dead, and no one is controlling the beasts there. Go take over.”
“Yes!”
Legion turned to leave.
“Wait.”
“Do you have any other orders, Lord Fiendspawn?”
“Don’t get too close or reveal yourself. Stay along the outer edge of the southeastern sector and use the beast army to drive the Wyrmshade Squad and those five Awakened Squads toward Heavenspire Peak.
“I don’t have time to deal with them right now. Just drive them toward me first.
“Be careful. I suspect those squads may have found a way to track you. Keep the sector sealed off. Whether they belong to Wyrmshade or one of the Awakened Squads, don’t let a single person escape.
